Some of the stuff I've seen about LYN is so wild... I mean, if anyone thinks Liu Yu Ning isn't handsome, Chinese…
He's more masculine and less of a "pretty boy", which is what so many people seem to want these days... π I find him extremely attractive, and love both his speaking and singing voice. He's also an insanely talented actor. Complete package! Anyone bashing him is definitely blind. Lol.
(What happens in episode 16? I don't remember. And I'm going to watch the drama again.)I hope you didn't abandon…
I paused watching right after the Lantern Festival where they caught the murder suspect... which was actually episode 15. Oops. xD
Again, my issue isn't with Ju Jing Yi as a person... and I've seen her in other things where I liked her acting! I just can't help but feel that the character they introduced in the first few episodes is not the same character JJY is now portraying. I know her face is swapped and she's pretending to be someone else, but even when she's not pretending, it still feels like Shangguan Zhi rather than Cai Wei β and it should feel like the opposite. Thus my original opinion that she's just not right for this part.
I do like the MC's chemistry and interactions a lot... they're sweet. I'm hoping once the MC is officially together and the truth is out in the open, it'll get better. Even though I've taken a break from it for now, I do intend to finish it eventually. :)
Like you said, everyone has different opinions and tastes and that's normal and completely okay! It's good to see things from other perspectives, even if it doesn't change yours. :)
I'm on episode 16 and SO close to dropping this one... π I love LXY (and have nothing against JJY), but can't get over my original impression that she is just wrong for this role. I find her acting here bland and shallow compared to ML's steady intensity, and the storyline is dragginggg. I really want to stick it out, but I honestly don't know if I can do it. (Especially now that I know how the 2nd couple's story ends. Ugh. WHY.)
Holy tomatoes π ! Heβs only 25! My Lethal Man was the one that sealed the deal for me with him and he must…
Yes! When I read that My Lethal Man was FZX's first lead roll in a full-length drama, I was shocked... he has the poise and skill of a much more experienced actor, and his acting is well-defined and poignant. Somehow, he manages to elevate a mediocre script and give it weight and meaning without being overly dramatic. Definitely someone to watch! (And I agree with you on WXY... his acting pleasantly surprised me!)
So much of the plot drove me insane, but I LOVE the main couple π₯Ή They have amazing chemistry, play well off each other, and compliment each other beautifully, appearance wise. Love the FL actress! Sheβs very talented β her eyes are so expressive. And DYX is always a pleasure to watch. π
changing the justice system for 1 man is called favoritism. if u think a rehab rather rhan puni system is best…
I'm not continuing this discussion with you. I can't tell if you're being intentionally dense, or simply argumentative. Enjoy arguing with your shadow.

Wtf are you even talking about? Favoritism? Nobody said anything about "changing the justice system" for one man. I'm discussing this particular situation because this post is about HIM. You don't know my views on drug addicts, and I have no reason to express my opinion on every person that has ever been jailed on drug charges because it's not relevant to this discussion. Addiction is an illness that needs to be treated, SK's approach to drug abuse is totalitarian (while actual sexual predators and rapist often walk free), and Yoo Ah In never hurt anyone other than himself.
And why are you bringing pedophiles into this conversation? Those two situations aren't comparable in any way. Stop muddying the water.
Ugh, this actually breaks my heart. π The man needs help, not punishment for what must have seemed like the only solution to his depression (other than the more devastatingly permanent option). I only hope this doesn't exacerbate his struggles beyond recovery. At least it's "only" a year. I wish him nothing but health and happiness, and hope he can find both in the near future.
It's the worst when you start airing drama and it makes you looking forward next week but after few weeks you…
So true! I had high hopes for Strong Girl Namsoon and dropped it halfway through... that was the last drama I tried watching while it aired. Lol. I hope this one will be worth it! π
I *never* start dramas while they're airing (I've been burned too many times lol), but this might have to be an exception... hopefully the script will stay solid throughout, and we'll get a satisfying ending. π₯Ήπ€πΌ
I just saw the bts video of Wan Peng and Tang Xiao Tian and omggg ππ Their chem is sooo good! They're adorable together, and now I want a drama with them as the leads lol.
Just finished "A Familiar Stranger" and I guess I'm in the mood for another face-swap drama. Lol. I'm on episode 4, and am really enjoying it so far! It's intriguing, the acting is good, and the main couple has good chemistry β although I think LXY has good chem with everyone. xD
And ooh, sorry, MC is sometimes used as the abbreviation for "main couple". πβ¨

this made me laugh so hard π€£π€£ you are definitely not alone in this, though lmao
