Honestly, it's a pretty mediocre plot in my opinion (with way too many plot-holes), but I still enjoyed the story. 🥲 I stayed until the very end for Cheng Yi and Cheng Yi alone. Lol. As always, his acting blew me away and broke my heart at the same time. Hopefully he'll do more modern dramas in the future. 🫶🏼
Watching episode 15 right now and oh my HEART... that kiss! Pure emotion... there's so much left unsaid, but that kiss pretty much said everything. 😭 And when she intertwined their fingers while still kissing him?!! It actually made me tear up and I'm still not over it alksjdfklsdjf
As much as it hurts to see Cheng Yi's characters injured/sick all the damn time, he portrays pain & every raw emotion so well... and he always looks so pretty doing it. Lol. I'm living for this drama, tbh. I loveee angst as long as there's a happy ending. 😅🤞
So many people coming here to say how much they didn't like... if it was so horrible, move on with your lives. Lol. This is one of my favorite dramas – even though I did end up skipping most of the gangster scenes in the later episodes. They were cringey and got on my nerves haha.
But the main couple absolutely stole my heart, and the plot was a great mix of funny and intense and heartwarming. I'll definitely be rewatching this one countless times. 🥰
It seems to be a remake of 'Strong Girl Bong Soon'. This will become disappointing. You will constantly compare…
It's a spinoff/sequel, actually! Kang Nam Soon is Do Bong Soon's cousin, I think? Definitely can't compare the two (since the original is perfection haha), but I hope this is cute, too! But now I'm gonna have to watch Strong Woman Do Bong Soon again 😆
I am here and SEATED for this drama. 😌 Loving everything about it so far... the FL is mature and smart, ML is funny and sweet, and their chem is off the charts! The whole production feels very high quality, and the OST is beautiful. It has been worth the wait. 😍😭
I keep coming back to this page, hoping for good news... [sigh]. Cheng Yi is the only one I'll wait for with this level of patience. Lol. Hoping it's aired soon! We've been waiting so long. 😩
Personally, I'm enjoying this drama. Lol. The FL isn't my favorite, but she has cute chem with ML and I'm hoping for more character development. Decent action scenes, great humor... it has a very different feel from the Chinese version, but it's fun. :))
This drama definitely isn’t perfect, but I’m genuinely enjoying every moment of it. It has its cringey moments, but overall is just a really sweet, funny & heartfelt story. I’m almost done with it & I have to admit that it’s a show I’m gonna miss. 🥲
He's told her before that he struggles with communicating, more than once. His behavior right now doesn't bother…
I agree 100%, honestly. His behavior doesn’t bother me too much because I understand where it’s coming from. He’s not used to being vulnerable either, so it’s especially hard to be in his condition. It’s mostly the lazy writing that irritates me, because they could highlight and expand on his struggles with communication, etc, without writing him like this. Lol. But I know they’ll work through it. I love how FL isn’t even fazed by his moodiness. She was hurt, yes, but she understands that there is a reason behind his actions, even if she doesn’t know what it is. And we know she loves him & him alone… I think it’ll all be cleared up soon. 🤞🏼
Still loving this drama a whole lot, but Huo is pissing me off BIG TIME. For someone who supposedly cares about FL, he's being a complete *ss by pursuing her in such a relentless, dishonest way after she's clearly told him how she feels. Seriously dude. Back off. Get a life.
Aaaaand Shi Chuan annoyed me in ep 18 so much. I understand he's struggling, but he was a major jerk. Honestly so tired of MLs being written like this. Stop lying to women to "protect" them. If you can't be honest, don't get into a relationship. She has made it clear that she cares about him, no matter what.
Shi Chuan needs to be honest with her because, at this point, he's doing the same thing Huo is... taking away FL's right to choose. If he cares about her so much, the best thing he can do is communicate his worries about his condition - and his fear of potentially being unable to support & protect her. Anything else is just selfish. Right now, FL wants to help and support him, but she CAN'T because he isn't communicating and being honest with her. UGHH.
i’m really enjoying this drama so far! i binged the first 10 episodes today and i usually can’t binge watch anything. a bit unrealistic at times (especially the situations the FL gets into lol) but it’s a super sweet story, good acting, good chemistry and a fascinating (if simple) plot. i like how they’re moving the story along. it has good momentum and doesn’t drag. definitely hoping it stays this good! ♥️
