I have nothing against the character but I think Xu Kai just simply isn't a good fit, he's awesome in Wonderland of Love and that type of role is much more suited to him. Btw Shanggu actress said it herself she was practically forced to do that role and she didn't feel comfortable. To me ALP is like 6/10, because it got really draggy with fillers and unnecessary stuff.

Ikr? FL is totally not suitable for Shanggu, and ML is waaay better at playing a cheeky flirt and being funny than hot emotionless Bai Jue. Their story was meh at best, I preferred their alternate selves.

The only good stuff is until episode 14. To me ALP was such a drag 😩 I didn't like the casting for mains one bit. Tian Qi and Yue Mi were drop dead gorgeous 😍

Yep, much more lighthearted and funny until 17, that's when I started crying buckets. I've been crying here all the time 😭

I haven't cried this much not even for LFBAD, and trust me I could have filled a lake with tears for that show and FOF, but this is a whole 'nother level. I have a feeling I cried in every single episode for a different reason 🤦🏼‍♀️ Definitely one of the best dramas I've watched.

Okay, I'm betting the stone clan broke Qi Feng's legs and that's why he hates them. Also little Bai Xi had a crush on CZ, no wonder Fu Ling loves him 🤣 I'm also betting Zhen Yu wanted to collect all the gods, that's why he took Qi Feng with supposedly purple eyes, he probably thought Bai Xi is Xingyue when it's Bai Shuo and now he figured that CZ is the third one. This is getting veeeery interesting.

I kinda pity Fu Ling now 🥺
