I've been rewinding ALP just for Tianqi/Yue Mi scenes and for anyone interested they have scenes together in these episodes: 4 5 7 9 10 13 14 . Also at the ending. They were the best couple to me.

Everything convinced me he truly loves Yue Mi more than anything, even Shanggu. Too bad he didn't realize it himself. Hopefully we'll get good closure in MM now.

Also if you remember when Yue Mi threw the love rope, at first Tianqi was worried that Zhi Yang will punish him, but he still took the blame for everything and lied that it wasn't Yue Mi who threw the rope but him. He was just an idiot, and I think he was afraid Yue Mi wouldn't be his friend anymore.

I do believe there will be angst in real time since it's impossible for xianxia not to cook up lots of it for 7 whole episodes. But will it be like ALP when the gods absorb their alternate selves or they will stay that way but with godly powers remains to be seen. Some fighting with CZ is inevitable.

Maybe they changed the story where he chased after her instead of him chasing Shanggu like a puppy and Yue Mi suffering in silence. Maybe there even isn't Shanggu, Bai Yue and Zhi Yang in MM at all.
