No offense to Song Yi but she simply doesn't have the badass energy a general should have, she's too cutesy. Props to her because she was great at comedy in Follow Your Heart, not extremely impressive but that's definitely much more suited for her

Yep. Black plot hole. She had amazing martial arts almost as good as ML and they suddenly went poof and she was a weakling.
