I'm enjoying this drama but tbh the acting feels pretty wooden overall. I donāt think itās the actorsā fault coz i can see they are really good in some scenes. It just seems like the director intentionally wanted them to perform this way and i don't know why. The series sometimes feels like itās putting on an act rather than telling its story.
The first two eps were kinda meh, not bad, just not good either. Basically, all the secondary charactersā acting felt off and they didn't really look the part. But Iām only here for the leads and their chemistry anyway š And Mi Jin reminds me of Zhai Xiaowen š„°
My goodness, why is it so hard to get a proper kissing scene? Iām so frustrated! Iād be fine if other dramas skipped kiss scenes, but in the omegaverse, sex is such an integral part. And obviously, I was expecting more.

i wanted a proper conversation about all the confusion they had regarding yy, ws, gcy. and why did cc say "i hate you" to wsw? as a viewer, i never understood the reasoning behind it. and then, lamely they just threw in a piece of paper to explain everything.
iāve read the novel as well, but never finished it as it was a mess as well. but pls don't bring up "it wasn't in the novel" stuff. i donāt care whether it was in the novel or not, that doesnāt make any difference. the job of a filmmaker is to make the scene cohesive, and for me, it wasnāt.

and speaking of other scenes which were cut out, the one with the cc's sister and wsw, the moment between wsw and cc's dad and also the one with cc's dad and chengyu, the graveyard scene... also the little nephewās scenes really took me out of the moment because the kid kept looking at the camera and off in random directions, it just didnāt feel natural...these are what i can think of now.
they had been cutting out scenes long before the ending but it was particularly bad in the finale. so many scenes didnāt make sense. what was the point of that random water fight scene? the intimacy between the characters was dialed down and was literally zero by the end. but forget the nc scenes, i would have been happy with just a proper reunion, a heartfelt conversation between cc and wsw. we never got that.
Iām losing my patience. If youāre not going to release this, at least let us know so we can finally move on! The waiting and not knowing is whatās making this painful for me.
tbh im not too happy about this. im trying to move on from this drama after that trainwreck of a finale, but i guess itās not gonna happen. they better be giving us 10 mins long bts videos!
This show is moving far too slowly. I nearly fell asleep watching the latest episode. Weāre already more than halfway through the show, yet the second coupleās love story hasnāt even begun! Thereās no way weāll get to see them in a relationship, get pregnant and have babies at this pace!š
Ngl Iām a bit disappointed. I was expecting more from the last episode. Tbh the past few episodes just havenāt lived up to the quality of the earlier ones. They shouldāve wrapped up the series after the reunion. But Iām still giving it a 10/10 because itās still the best one out there.
I've not read the book but as a viewer I feel like 16 episodes wonāt be enough for the story to wrap up properly. Weāre already halfway through and it still feels like weāre only in the initial phase of the plot.
And LXC was only 19 at the time, but he was so chill and nonchalant, saying stuff that really left me stunned š¤£š¤£š¤£
