How does Ye Tan only drop ONE tear during the farewell scene of the 3 soul shards (while she is sleeping/dreaming…
She was sobbing during their goodbyes. Honestly, I think if she had personally witnessed their demise in the valley she would’ve been more emotional. I actually felt the single tear was very profound. Same goes for the one when the shards learned of their true identities.
A big round of applause to Ma Jia for the spellbinding screenplay. Two thumbs-up to fate for pulling the strings which rounded-up the perfect ensemble. Now, who do we need to brown-nose to get an official OST release?!?!
It ended as it started. Everything comes full circle.Except now it is love and protection, not hate and destruction.
