Netflix is trolling people all over the world. Gives you 6 eps of a drama, just to give you the rest a year later.…
They're cracking down on that, soon it'll just charge you when they've clicked you've had constant free trials, heads up. I just use my brothers and if he cancels his, I feed off a friends, so they've never got cash from me dkjhdf
Thanks for the article, very useful. I was a huge fan of horror when I was younger than I stopped watching them.…
You're welcome! I hope that this brings you a wonderful re-introduction to the genre! I dropped out of Asian horror a while ago and this has been me getting back into it the past few months so I truly hope you can rediscover the lover like I have ^^
I would agree but also disagree - a lot of movies now a days are the same ghost plots that don't really go anywhere past the same plots we've seen as well (ie. the grudge again, sadako last year being the same as other ring series, etc). We seem to be in a bit of a blunt stage where no one can really further the genre at the moment, and we're stuck with the same ones we've seen 20 times before.
I didn't know either until I searched up the drama to look at the writers! It's actually quite interesting and…
I wish the horror had been more than just ghosts being present to be honest, it has a very strong premise. I'm looking forward to season 2 and I'm considering watching more from the actors, because they all nailed their parts wonderfully.
But I also do point out, the men didn't have it too much easier either. Although they had more "wiggle-room" they had to marry purposely to continue heritage. This could also be forced by family if it was "taking too long" or for a number of other reasons and were also as dictated by the family in some cases. Women definitely did have it rougher though and I commend those who went ahead with "marrying a spirit table" for their own volition. That's a damn smart movie.
DON"T waste your time on the american grudge films, and grudge squeals and spin offs, their all TRASH except the…
The Eye and Inner Senses are both Hong Konger films
I agree with the majority of these, watched majority of them before January so didn't include them (Gonjiam was bloody brilliant). Will check the rest of these out that I haven't seen in Feb/March tho!
I watched this because of Chris Wu, cinematography, costume, and make up seen in the trailer,... not knowing there…
I didn't know either until I searched up the drama to look at the writers! It's actually quite interesting and it was fun to look through! I'm glad people enjoyed reading about it ^^ The costume and make up was absolutely stunning and I'm so looking forward to V2!
Ahh you're welcome!!! As long as one horror fan gets to enjoy some movies, then the article has done it's job…
He wasn't at all because in his head he was justified... Terrifying man. (That YT also has a ton of docus like that, I just watched some more last night and they're all really good and in depth)
The Grudge 2 is a great horror movie. The Grudge 3 and The Grudge 2020 are boring as hell. I saw The grudge in…
The grudge 2 was good but it kind of just repeated the first one for, thinking back now I should have but it in average but too many similarities to the first (bear in mind I also watched them all directly after each other so these similarities were very obvious to me)
Wow! As a fan of horror, true crime, etc. I so appreciate your effort. Great article and I'll use it for reference.
Ahh you're welcome!!! As long as one horror fan gets to enjoy some movies, then the article has done it's job ^^ Speaking of true crime, watched this on Josef Fritzl the other day and it's surprisingly indepth: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4HpwjYQI2A
I loved your article! Great recommendations. I just watched 'A function' and it was great. I will probably watch…
I will say, a few episodes were pretty bad but I did enjoy the majority of them, which is why it ended up on here ^^ Definitely look through the episode guide (wrote up summaries for them all!) to get an idea (I'd def recommend watching the ones you think sound boring more first, that's what I did)
Thank you very much!!!!! I really hope you enjoy the shorts ^^
LotE shook me so hard I saw that at like 12? or smthg like that and damn I still havent like. Fully gotten over the shock just *chefs kiss* I will give it a go!!!!! Might see it in february's article if I can find it [eyes emooji]
I'm glad I'm not alone in having a soft spot for Shiraishi Koji's work lol I started out with Noroi and since…
Hshs I love him. He has such a "this is my movie and if you don't like it well move on" attitude and I respect that so hard. Teke teke or Kuchisake were my first by him :') his work is some form of zany and I just love it. The only thing I didn't like with Occult and Cult were that the demons were so similar, I just wish they'd been Slightly different in appearance but absolutely stunning films (especially Cult with so many idol actors, I did not expect it to be so good?)
