It relied on about 30 different tropes to carry it, the only good thing about it was the acting [shrug] Could have been a great movie but dir/writers relied on tropes too much
I actually been wanting to watch this for a while now but been putting it off since forever. I've seen the anime…
If you look through the comments, a lot of people who have watched the article have said despite the different ending this was a really good adaptation!
I do! My MAL is linked in my bio! I've watched quite a few but I haven't really been in an anime mood recently so >< Been starting to get into the swing of things with dramas and documentaries so been binging there :')
Note: this is co-produced between America and Thailand but the Thai crew members did not want crediting as Thailand has strict laws on marijuana and did not want to risk being arrested
I watched the anime first and I loved it, everything about it was just captivating and perfectly orchestrated.…
That's absolutely wonderful to hear! LA tends to go bad when it comes to it so I'm super glad to hear that the anime fans could enjoy it as much as they did!!
The female lead has been betrothed since when she was a kid.
It can also be used if it's significant to the plot. Without the arranged marriage, Angie wouldn't have run in the first episode meaning that the drama wouldn't have happened at all or would be much different in nature ^^
Where did you see it? I need to give this a go now
