omg i just read - exactly my same sentiment- moving forward i will never watch anything written by Seo Hyun Joo.
I'll give this drama 2 more days and i will take the final decision to drop it or not.

writers out of ideas completely- last time she kept all the secrets to herself bugged HY and ended up in a coma. Now, she bug the room again and go off to the a forsaken place with an unknow hospital without telling anyone and she is supposedely dead. I mean could have learn from her past mistakes and tell jM she placed a listening device and tell her about the surgery...
It's all a MESS. This drama is only redeemable if she ends up not been dead anymore because all the character seems useless and the writer made HY some kind of omnipotent bitch that is able to kill anyone or do anything she wants and always get away with it.... for god's sake.....

At this point i am not sure if HY is the worst or her son. She is def evil but she has deep feeling for her son (supposedely).However, JH might really be an EVIL PSYCHo without any emotions. He acted evil towards literally everyone.

I’m sorry, but I’m about to drop this drama — I’ll decide by Friday.

I cannot believe they extended this drama for this mess. And they say viewers reacted positively and were hyped when the decision came out? Which viewers? I seriously doubt that, unless they’re all clueless.

I will not watch another drama from writer Seo Hyun Joo. It takes an incredible level of incompetence to ruin a drama this badly.

For my final comments in case I do drop it...

JH is once again an absolutely despicable scam of the earth, working with HY and putting on an act. Those smiles he gave her while deceiving her right to her face... DIE YOU MOT%#$%$$#$ING PIECE of S$%# !!!!
If he truly loved JM the way he claimed, he would never hurt her twin sister knowing the bond they share. But once again, JH only cares about himself — everyone else is just a pawn to him

So yes, if SR is really dead (which I seriously hope is not the case unless the writer has completely lost her marbles), then I honestly hope JH pays for it by getting terminal leukemia, because it would be just as much his fault.

SR really turned into the dumbest character just popping pills handed to her by a murdered ( Everyone knows you should never take random medication or supplements before surgery.)- trusting the murderer to send you into a surgery in an unknown location that would require anesthesia..? While demanding you not tell anyone? biggest RED FLAG everrr...why not go with your sister or why not take grandpa's bodyguards??Who cares if she tells you to not say anything.... C'mon !!!!


ALL THESE CHARACTERS ARE SO GODDAMN DUMB.

And seriously, you should never trust someone who keeps asking, “Do you trust me?” — especially when you already know they’ve done countless evil things. Another massive red flag.

And that hospital? I wouldn’t have surgery there even if they paid me. It looked like some collapsing black-market clinic where criminals on the run go to get patched up.

NOW IF SHE IS NOT DEAD....
She better come back as the old SR, with her burning rage transforming into cold, calculated revenge — destroying everyone in her path, starting with JH, who convinced her to go there and his bio mom who actively tried to kill her.

SR deserves better and she needs to realize that. JH should have acted better - he does not deserve any sympathy at this point. I'm all for BH

exactly especially since now SR witnessed her refusing JH. At least she snapped out of that drama.

JM would totally be there to support her and i don't think they flew together to the US- maybe they found a closer place.

I think she will attempt to kill her but fail... maybe she will go in a medical shock or coma but then she will be back.

But then again with all the secret. Couldn't SR tell JM about the pendant and the secret right then and there at the picnic... GIVE ME A BREAK with all this bullshit plot switches .

About JH-- mmmm i think he would want to get rid oh her because with his delusion he might think: " if she is out of the picture JM will not feel guilty anymore and will come to me... and BLAH BLAH BLAH"

yes that is my point - horrible job on the writes. They intially made her smart enough to put a bug in the lapdog watch and gather evidence but turned her into a childish, dumb doll that can only shop and complain.

So angry... all of a sudden, they’re besties having daily teatime, and her idiot brother-in-law didn’t even warn her to stay away from HY?? Why does everyone in this drama keep everything hidden, and then act surprised when things don’t go as planned?

Everything is written so ridiculously. Cookie never speaks up or does anything. Like yesterday — she called her a thief, but then still drank the banana milk she gave her??? Everyone eavesdrops like it’s a normal daily routine. Then there’s the useless mom-and-daughter duo on the sofa, still daydreaming that they’ll get something out of the chairman. And everyone keeps entering the side dish shop where impaired SH is always alone and apparently ready to be kidnapped or killed again.

At this point, the family might as well take a vacation and just leave SH home alone... seriously, people!!!!!

The more I watch these final stretch episodes, the more irritated and annoyed I get with every idiotic scene.

lol-- yes what an elegant and refined IDIOT scam of the earth. But then again, he deserves to be played with and discarded. He needs to suffer greatly for the way he has treated his family so i hope the family will discard him 100% by the end of drama

Lapdog should finally wake up and stop being her doormat and doing her evil deeds. She straight up told him that he is disgusting and she does not respect him even after all he did for her. If that is not a WAKE UP CALL....

It's draining my brain to watch these horrible, useless episodes and see how they are dragging the plot for an extra damn 20 episodes. I even tried going to the main websites of MBC C&I and DK Entertainment to post a complaint about this drama, but even registering with a VPN doesn’t work unless you’re on South Korean soil.

This makes me never want to watch anything written by the same writers in the future.

If she was really that sharp, she would not let the person who almost killed her keep manipulating her. And, she would have realized the person JH really is instead of blaming her sister for his "stalker"obsession.

another empty waste of an episode.... with only a final scene that tease into something that will turn out into nothing. I mean c'mon you cannot miss that huge half heart- only a blind person would!

HY doing trips to the side dish shop like it's her second home and the family keep leaving SH there alone. For crying out loud, TP does not even work- can't he just do 1 simple thing and stick to her until HY is behind bars?

She might not be dumb per se, but she is definitely acting dumb.

She never mentions anything to anyone. By doing that, what did she accomplish? Nothing. She should have told the Chairman the truth earlier. She should have told BH about JH as soon as she found out, and so on. All she keeps doing is making dumb choices, and that’s the reality.

And the Chairman is supposed to be smarter, but is he really? He is letting a murderer live in his house. It is clear as day that HY and SW + daughter are both greedy for money, and yet he publicly announced that his resurfaced daughter had returned? He leaves his office open for literally anyone to access when he could install code locks and cameras. He leaves his pills unattended, practically waiting for them to be switched. This family goes from dumb to dumber to dumbest...

On the other side, we have JH, the deranged psycho. They tried to explain the situation to him, but he chooses to stay blind to anything that does not align with his obsessive desire to possess JM.

And actually, JH knew from the beginning that his brother had a girlfriend he desperately loved named JM. Period. He consciously chose to become the villain and betray his brother, just like he discarded his family the moment he hid the truth about discovering his birth mother.

I have zero compassion for his character. I honestly hope he ends up in a coma for dozens of episodes. That would be perfect karma back to his bio mom. They keep hurting everyone around- it is about time they start to hurt too little by little until the final blow. I am just tired of watching him repeat the same lame psycho-obsession act over and over again.

He plays the victim with anyone who does not take his side and constantly uses the “discarded one” card, acting like he was always less important than his brother, or saying nonsense to his mother like, “How could you side with BH and JM?”

I wish there were a character with a taser gun who could tase his a$$ every time he mentions her name...

O_M_G i cannot believe i was waiting so long for this thinking it was going to be a good one with Ok Taec Yeon.... ufff disappointing!

Beside the bad directing and editing- it feels almost like a low cost production. i am even surprised that Netflix bought this series.

I had to finish it anyway just to see it through.

The story? any more melodrama than this ? poor dude was orphaned young and went to one bad situation to another, bad luck on all side. Then, he finally find some happiness in a non traditional family of 3 friends helping in each other and BANG ... incurable disease??? give me a goddamn break!!!! i did not want to start a Thursday crying that much just thinking if in real life someone had that life ... SO UNFAIR....

I doubt SH will die. They killed too many ppl.. if they have to take someone out, it better be the useless cheating husband that wanted the divorce because of the clear ramen missing the boiled egg.

Tik Tok was turned useless - she only knows 3 things- saying Shit, having victim mentality while complaining +crying and slapping JM. She might as well be shipped off to Boston to finally get her face fixed. Maybe the distance and some mental reflection can fix her brain too.
