You can see the selfish guy he is if you think about him deciding on his own that he had to marry Seo Rin ( referring to the part prior to JAng Mi confessing her identity). At that point in time, he could not care less that she was not willing to marry. Same as now, he does not care about his brother, mother, or anyone else for that matter. He is one of the most selfish character in the drama( not because of blood relation but he is as selfish as Hy- with the only difference that she is also an evil psycho murderer).
