I sobbed my EYES out on episode 32 for the original novel to be a happy ending? Oh I am reading that right now
Yes, I feel you! I sobbed my eyes out on episode 32 too, like why put us through all that pain when the book’s ending was already perfect. This change felt so unnecessary 😭
I assumed he meant GMMTV is a greedy company and SkyNani is really profitable right now so P’Tha would try to…
I think the same, he is always direct and doesn't shy away from pointing out the obvious. Gmmtv's fanbase is made out of BL viewers so they would profit from it IF the actors agree and are comfortable with it
Mark Pakin : "You guys are in mass delusion, you started shipping skynani so much that they themselves are confused, they didn't act so flirtatious when we were filming but now they are influenced by you, considering the success of this show they will probably continue to work together, we know what kind of company this is "
I don't know if I should be excited or not, the clothes they are wearing in the picture used for the lineup announcement are basically the same, isn't that a pairing thing lmao? But I also don't want to get my hopes up because I am SCARED
OMG SKY AND NANI ARE A PART OF GMMTV 2025 LINEUP!!!!! DAMN WE'RE DEFINITELY GETTING THEIR NEW SERIES OR MAYBE…
Well I am hoping for it but most gmmtv actors are in the lineup because there is no part 2 this time so unless they are taking a one year break, 99 percent from them should be in it
I think Shin put up all that act in front of his mother to make her think him and saint are done now so she will cut him some slack, that's why he is calling saint stupid in the preview lmaoo
The contrast in how Shin treats Saint compared to his other friends is undeniable ya'll. No one else in his circle could ever draw out the look he saves for Saint, the way his eyes soften, almost glowing, like he’s gazing at a universe made just for him. One look at Saint, and his gaze is pure tenderness.
girl real talk i know this isn't "bl" and i literally went into this expecting them to be really bromantic but…
The original Korean version was initially intended to be a BL story, but this was altered in the final production. GMMTV could be leaning into this aspect, making the BL undertones more noticeable but it’s also a strategic move. GMMTV’s fanbase is largely composed of BL fans, so BL content tends to be their most popular. Even subtle BL hints can drive engagement and this series has been trending wildly. While the storyline and acting are fantastic, the real reason for its popularity is that BL fans are eagerly drawn to this kind of content especially when it's done so well and the company knows this
Saint was probably trying to say something like, "I might not be worthy to be your friend, maybe I don’t deserve it but I’m always going to be it" I seriously doubt he’d just change his mind right after promising to stay. This is the same guy who was willing to get stomped on in the first few episodes just to make things right. Like, a slap and a little scolding are nothing to him. I think Shin is just so scared of Saint leaving him again that he immediately jumps to the worst conclusion before Saint can even get his words out.
the ost that plays at the end, the one nani and sky sing, the lyrics say 'Though we're far apart for so long, I haven't changed. Even if time takes us far away, my heart is still bound to you." very gay of them tbh
I watched only half of 1st episode... I do want to watch at least 2 or 3 episodes to see if it gets better.I disliked…
I don’t really approach this series with any seriousness, it’s pure comedy and I’m primarily watching because of the second couple. I wouldn’t say I dislike it, but I also wouldn’t call myself a huge fan. There’s a certain appeal to it for me, probably because I’m biased as I wait for PerthSanta’s scenes. Still, I find myself genuinely laughing through a lot of it, even if it’s mostly light entertainment. The humor may feel a bit over-the-top but I think that’s quite intentional. The exaggerated style is likely a cultural thing as well that’s amplifying this tone.
If you didn’t enjoy the first episode, there’s a good chance the rest of the series won’t be much different for you. If the humor feels cringeworthy from the start, it’ll probably stay that way since the tone is consistent but the show is divided into three story arcs focused on different couples: episodes 1 through 8 center on ForceBook, episodes 8 through 16 shift to PerthSanta, and episodes 16 to 24 introduce the third couple. So if you’re looking for something that might suit your taste better, you might find the second or third arcs more appealing because I don't think it’s necessary to watch every episode to get a feel for the other couples
Be on cloud should have never collaborated with this shitty ass company, they should have just kept this show for themselves because this is actually insane. Just air the damn thing already ffs
It's honestly hilarious watching Arc try and fail miserably to be anything close to charming. His version of “romance” is straight-up bullying and it’s pretty funny because he thinks he’s being smooth lmao. He is the kind of guy who pulls the pigtails and runs, stuck in that middle-school mindset that teasing equals affection. Every attempt he makes to get closer to Arm just ends up being one long series of social faceplants, I guess it's his signature move but he is sort of cute ngl
I was also thinking about Yan Zijing's motivation and it doesn't (imho) come from the place of chasing power.…
Thank you for the perspective! I do agree with you, I think I phrased it poorly, he’s definitely not seeking power for himself but rather to protect others. Beneath that tough exterior, he’s genuinely kind-hearted and that’s becoming more evident over time. I’m excited to see what’s next, though I have a strong feeling we’re in for even more emotional challenges ahead.
YES MARK IT'S A BL COMPANY MAINLY
I'm not complaining though 😭
Shin now : Someone pushes saint* Shin: YOU WANNA FUCKING TRY ME?
