Obviously the scriptwriter never ever had read Goethes Faust to make an adaption out of it. Or at least there is absolutely no connection to this story here! That must be an error on wiki.
Thank you so much for your recommendations! I haven't watched Hello Monster, Love Rain (2012?), Devilish Joy, Encounter (k-version?) and Flower of Evil (last one because of massive spoilers^^) I will try them, thank you again!β€οΈ
Hm, there was nothing wrong with it in general, but somehow I felt like a yoyeur watching them ^^ Kissing secretly in the dark in front of the fridge etc... Their chemistry was too much for me I guess
Yes, I think I have seen almost all of the standard stuff... I like romance, but also a good, interesting story and it must have a happy ending. I would love to watch something like "Reset" or "While u where sleeping"... Interesting story + romance, but not too dark themed.
Thank you for your review! After four episodes I searched for reviews to decide if I should drop it or not because the list of evil characters seemed to grow endlessly and all the names were so confusing... I found all my feelings about this show in your review and decided to watch something different instead.
I liked the story, the acting and the music was quite decent too, but the romance... In my opinion, there wasn't much chemistry to begin with, but the ml's romance was so dull and draggy. Every romantic scene was in slow motion with endless wide open eyes and a shocked expression of the fl... Unbearable. I watched it until ep 22 and jumped to the last episode. Fortunately I got closure there, all questions were answered, the ending is actually quite nice.
In my country in europe prostitution is legal and there are several organisations here fighting against human…
Of course, there are different opinions on this topic, you know? But my opinion is shared by several NGOs as well, so... There is no need to discuss this further.
A funny thing about this drama: There's some dramatic event regarding prostitution of a minor! Why is it dramatic?…
In my country in europe prostitution is legal and there are several organisations here fighting against human trafficking in growing numbers. In fact, human trafficking is a BIG problem everywhere where organized prostitution exits. Legalizing prostitution just creates a market place for human trafficking. Just ggogle "human trafficking and minors" and you will see that it is nearly everywhere an issue.
Wow, this was such a good show! Probably the best chinese production I have ever seen. Light romance, strong plot and very exciting from beginning to end. A wonderful, heartwarming and satisfying happy end. All actorshere were simply stellar!
This is a fair review except one thing - of course people would stay in a job for housing loans. That's probably…
Of course, you are right that adults stay in jobs to pay their loans. But as far as I remember, she stays in her job for the POSSIBILITY to take a loan in the future, not to pay for one actually and that seemed quite far fetched at least for me. But maybe I understood it wrong. Honestly, the drama wasnt interesting enough for me, to watch it again to find out...π
Thank you for your review. This is quite similar to what I felt after completing this drama! From episode 1 to 14 I was really hooked on this drama, wondering about the mixed reviews, because quite a few people seemed to find it dragging and the romance slow. That was really no issue for me, at no point it was boring and we get the leads to confess and kiss at ep 8, so what is there to complain? The chemistry was ok for me. But the last two episodes left a bitter taste in my mouth and ruined the whole drama for me. Besides the things you pointed out, I cannot overcome this: After all the effort the story takes to explore Eun Seobs life experiences and to show that he stays with the people who care about him to protect their happiness, it makes Hae Wons flight to the city aka rhe breakup a really cruel thing. And then for her to just come back because she is... bored? and to act like nothing really has happened, that was a slap in the face to what they called love.
