Anyway seems like you were right since start then. It seems that they did dirty with the actors, mostly ML here. A show which was expected to top all ratings in 2025 is clearly underperforming on all important markets. And before people blame zlh fans here, trust me zlh fans are still supporting the show despite the injustice to his hardwork , it's neutral viewers who are fed up!

Have to add a disclaimer here. Saying show and PH failed is hardly an attack on the actress. Zhao jinmai is a wonderful actress. I never understood how my dissing a show means a personal attack on the actress. Hence my disclaimer.

Just imagine, those are scenes where fans managed to get access to. Now imagine how many scenes shot by Zlh which we are unaware of and have been deleted. Viewers complaining from start aren't wrong. His scenes have been chopped, otherwise why did zlh even shoot for so many days when his scenes are even less than the second leads!

Don't know the reason of the vendetta, if any, against the ML. But it seems they deleted many of his scenes, hence the lack of flow and connection for his character.
On Twitter, someone has made a compilation of some of his major important scenes deleted. Likewise who knows how many of his other scenes were even deleted , and for what reasons?!
This is first show in Cdrama history where the ML is nothing but a guess appearance in general.

Already dropped the show, but just keeping a check on n off to see whether this show is redeemable or not. But from the reviews of neutral viewers and my friends, guess nope 😅

why are people so insecure? Different shows, actors can co-exist. You need not drag something down just to make people believe your preferred shows are better. So irritating at times when you see people whining just to compare and force their opinion. You believe your show is better, then your rightful place is putting your comments under that's show available discussions! not here! Just saying. Live and let live.

to each their own likes. i dropped Hidden Love within a few episodes for the same reasons you mentioned, but still managed to finish this one and yet like it. why do people believe that comparing shows makes one better than the other. Each show is unique in their own way, some scenes, characters stand out more. Life is like that you know. To each their own likes!

it's safe and soothing drama, one where you don't feel like beating anyone after watching an episode, or throwing your laptop on the floor type :P. Sweet and fluffy.

watching both right now, and both are very good. TFF is a bit more mature given the trauma the FL has been through and it's all about first love, while TBT is kinda of fluffy more. even the break-up of the FL they didn't overdo with the heartbreak scenes. But both are extremely enjoyable and can be watched in parallel.

i know, i saw them during Loves Rebellion days. Initially, i thought this happened just with ZLH, but lately i see that many actors are impacted here. Many times i have watched shows based on MDL's rating, but found them so bad. God knows how many good shows i may have missed all these years basing my watch-list on such dubious ratings!

this shouldn't be an issue, right? good shows can co-exist, not everything is a race, where you need to drag someone down to win.

why are people so sick with their jealousy and jobless? i guess there are some 30-40 sick people who have already given low ratings for episodes not yet aired!!!

MDL's ratings seem very fake lately, a good rating no longer means a good show here, a high rating means a big fandom, and low ratings means many anti-fans at times too.

Show is not 100% best, but it's an entertaining watch at least for me and many others.

definitely, many good shows struggle to achieve that 1B mark as per Maoyan Professional edition. also any streaming site wants only "views" which translate into money for them. The more views, the more money they get. So LR is definitely not a flop like haters wanted despite so many flaws due to budget issues.

remembered there was a hater stalking here since this show started. She had joked about 2B views etc to mock the actor.
well i guess her words came right, show has already obtained above 2 Billions plays on Mango streaming site and as per Maoyan it has crossed 1Billion views.

Not bad for a show which had so many hurdles and almost wasn't aired.
