i did start the novel, then stopped because i knew i would compare it too much. But it's clear the CXZ in the novel was a grey character totally, and he was like "everything is fair in love and war" types

People behave stupidly both in real life and in fiction. We can truly love, but our pride, distrust and insecurities…
i have nothing against stupidity etc, because that's human nature. but even when we act stupid, we talk internally and our thoughts process though muddled still can seem logical for an external person. I may agree that LMT is acting stupidly, but why dont we get any such scenes where LMT is fighting against herself about her feelings, her thoughts, her anger, her frustration... anything. she hardly reacts except smile no matter how much someone is insulting her.
what's hard to guess? sure she has feelings but she's actively trying to NOT be in a relationship with the guy.…
did i say she need to go visit him or do anything to lead him on??? Her inner thoughts would have made difference, because for normal neutral viewers, they hardly believe LMT even loves CXZ right now! As a couple fan, you may think differently. but the normal fans are all confused about LMT feelings here because we have nothing about what is going inside of her head!
this show sometimes drags, then moves normally and again drags a lot. but still, it's ok. But what i hate is when i have to guess what is happening in the head of a character. from start though CXZ lied, we knew his thoughts and how he gradually fell for LMT. but why is the writing so bad for the LMT since past few episodes, except random 1-2 scenes where we again had to guess LMT's state of mind, as at now we only got her being indifferent towards CXZ, Given LMT's characterisation, i dont expect her to whine etc, but genuinely what is even going behind her mind? fair enough she thinks CXZ is outside of her league, but despite hearing he was hurt, she did not care at all. Blaming the writing here which failed LMT i believe in this whole redemption arc of the ML.
loving this show, the main couple have so much chemistry. Finally, now the episodes are moving at a better pace, and Lui Miantang has all the main cards in her hand. However, one cant hate Lord Huaiyang either considering he's completely heads over heels over in love with his fake wife. waiting for the upcoming episodes.
I'm on episode 28 and still don't understand the character of ML! I mean what was his reason for going to valley…
Yes, you'd get his reasons in later episodes. Why he covered for his master, why he was looking for the seven sins manual etc. He was just part of the collateral damage in the evil planning of someone. Just he was too strong to just die.
And how did they explain that part? I don't understand original language at all😅
No wonder I didn't understand the logic. The English subtitles made a mess and stated that SHE was ressurected, she destroyed the demons in the world etc 🤣🤣😅
I read that they had different co-writers in the later stages.
no wonder one felt that some episodes didn't just match to the standards of others. Like starting had another touch, middle too and ending part was completely different. You could see that they wanted to deliver something good here, but unfortunately failed, especially editing part and CGI part.
all 36 episodes done. It's like different teams in general worked for this show. Epi30-36 had completely another essence in general from previous episodes. and the BGM during the fight scenes just elevated everything. Felt 36 a lot rushed.
