I don't know why so many people found this boring and draggy.. I felt there was enough Romance.. Suspense/Thriller..…
I watched it months ago and gave it a good rating but imo the setting (timeline with thr restaurant and most of the scrnes taking place in the same small neighborhood) made it draggy.. It felt long week after week because all i wanted was to see them open the restaurant or something.. but they kept working on it without really showing us them working seriously on it if that makes sense? Some plot devices felt weird. I think it s not a writing error but a director’s choice, but that didnt transcribe well. On paper the pace is good but watching on a screen it s kind of long? And i remember back then thinking that i would prefer a book version of this drama. Ps. An example of a drama of the same year with a wonderful execution of thrilling pace in a small setting was “the killer s shopping list” (with lee kwang soo) idk if you ve watched it, but it s actually based on a book and the pace is so so good. Not boring at all and also it isnt really a romance kdrama, more like just a mystery thriller. But comparing the two… i know why some people found this one a bit boring but yes great casting. the two leads had a nice chemistry
It was so sweet. Felt like a shoujo manga . I havent read the original manhwa but i really loved the narration especially comparing the first episode with the last… it was very good and the characters all felt whole. A feel good drama, definitely. And i didnt mind the mystery/action part at the end. It gives more dimension
Sigh i want to move to a sweet countryside town with a hot single person in it too
Loved this season. I actually read the manga back in 2019(!!) and so I knew what to expect. Very satisfied with the ending. The characters i liked most (antagonists and protagonists) all had satisfying endings. Loved it. I cried a little too
it was soooo hilarious and much needed during those cold and dark days (i got no vacations for xmas ಥ_ಥ ) this variety made me laugh so much 😆 perfect trio
I enjoyed part 2 SO MUCH BETTER than part one! The ending is so satisfying. I think they did a good job. I am one who hasnt seen the original series but i really enjoyed it despite the sometimes frustrating characters (woojin and rio to tell names!). Idk i just loved part two much more also Berlin was so good in part 2 im glaf they built a good backstory and gave him depth. Park hae soo is captivating always but i tend to prefer him when he s being morally good tbh :)
