For those of you who are traumatized by romantic endings and are already jumping to conclusions about whether it's going to be a happy ending or not, know that marriage isn't always a happy ending. Girls, marriage isn't happiness.
So, could anyone who's been following Cheng Yi's work tell me if FSM: Sword and Beloved is coming out next? Could it be in October? What's the current iQiyi release date?
Hmm, I only watched TWD and loved it. I found the mystery behind the Yesha case so interesting. I feel you will…
Alright, I’ll get back to The Wanted Detective. I really liked it—I honestly don’t even remember why I stopped watching 🫠 Before that, I watched Coroner’s Diary, which was also really good.
A protagonist who is also the antagonist: Cheng Yi. His acting is pure magnificence ✨ In China, people absolutely love his expressions—the subtle gestures and even the quirky faces that, on anyone else, might seem strange, but on him are simply captivating. Cheng Yi truly deserves all the support and praise he’s been receiving.
But can someone please tell me which drama I should pick back up while waiting for the two daily episodes? 😫😫 I left these halfway: Moonlit Reunion, When Destiny Brings the Demon, and The Wanted Detective 🫠🤣 Once I saw TJOL’s premiere date, all my excitement went straight into this😭 (with the exception of Cheng Lei, of course 🫣❤️🔥).
Cheng Yi never disappoints in terms of acting and gestures, but should I be honest? I choose Cheng Yi because of the quality of his martial arts movements. The action shots are captivating. I love watching Cheng Yi fight. The story captivated me and makes me want to know how the mind of a modern man can keep up with the martial arts world. And believe me, there will be many surprises along the way.
And those who say this is cheap said the same about Mysterious Lottus Casebook and Joy of Life, and yet they are the best in China. These series are not for corny, childish things.
Episode 4 and I’m already losing my patience with these unbearable female leads. I’ve been waiting over a year for this drama—Cheng Yi is my absolute favorite in historical series—and yet once again, he’s stuck with frustrating, annoying female characters. Tang Fang lost the bet, but still acts so treacherous? Why is it that every time Cheng Yi takes on a new project, the women around him are written to be insufferable? Can we please get just one decent female lead for him?
FINALLY, CHENG YI! Please don't forget to watch and rate this man's acting skills. Watch at least up to episode 7 before trying to rate the drama. The plot is a bit different, and his character isn't easy to play, but there's no better male actor with a sword.
I cry if Jin'an cries. Ryan Cheng is in my top two favorite Chinese actors, and my top list only has two spots: 1-CHENG YI, 2-RYAN CHENG.
A great, very good performance from Ryan. He gave me EVERYTHING I expected from a male lead who truly loves the female lead.
If I can give a negative, it's General Li. I feel she lacked a bit of charisma for such a strong role as that of a female general, especially in the action scenes.
Looking at Chinese networks they say that only in chapter 30 Jin'an recovers memory 🫠🫠 TERRORY, besides that it is hard to follow the drama because of the little chemistry between them (I only continue to see for Ryan Cheng) the idea that we will only have some 3-4 episodes of Prince Anan 😫😭
All those hater's who threw shit at LOTFG saying she was a very feminine and weak general compared her to this…
And I think many of us will have a big blow when Prince Anan recovers his memory, I think they're playing a lot with this Jin'an character. 😭😭😭 Ryan Cheng is an expert on cold and ruthless characters, and passing that tender, romantic, and comic character to the cold and harshness of the prince will be strong😭
All those hater's who threw shit at LOTFG saying she was a very feminine and weak general compared her to this general 😂 WILL BE HIDDED BEFORE THE STONE! The best general so far is HE YAN🙌🏻 (that doesn't mean I don't like this drama, clearly it's more romance than anything else)
But… only 9 episodes?? Is that really true??
