Agree! But do you think they will confirm this month? Huhu
I've noticed more and more dramas announcing the confirmation after filming has already begun, so I think you're right! More and more dramas are being pre-produced or mostly pre-produced, so they probably don't want to announce news about it too early because people will forget about it.
I just found out “Start up” confirmed after 10 months and “My roommate is a gumiho” after 7 months...…
I think this cast is happening--if it wasn't they probably would have news about offers going out to other actors--productions just love to tease!!!! I hate it. Yeah, I remember Gumiho confirmed after they already started filming--they released a still like the week the cast was confirmed LOL. So it's possible that might happen here.
I think Lee El will be the eldest sister and kjw will be the middle or youngest . The names sounds feminine .…
When I saw the casting rumors back in January I was hoping to see LMK and KJW as a couple because I thought they were so adorable when promoting DK3, but I'll honestly be happy to see them doing anything by this writer! And I think it'll be good for both of them to take a break from doing something romance-focused. But I admit, I'm still a bit disappointed! Ah, well.
I'm eagerly waiting for this the title seems really really great I think it's gonna become a well written drama
Super happy to finally hear more news!!! ? I have full trust in this writer and love the director as well. If all 3 of them confirm I know I'm gonna be OBSESSED. What a cast.
I liked the first two episodes. The leads have great chemistry and I'm happy that Nana is acting with a different…
I love your avatar! Goo Se-ra! <3
I really liked reading your comments, and I agree the directing leaves something to be desired. When the scenes really work, it's mostly because of Min-ki and Nana's performances and chemistry. The lack of an OST with vocals also puzzles me, but I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing. Just different.
As for the writing, I'm most concerned about what the heck they're doing with the supernatural element. That aside, I foresee the drama focusing on Bi-soo and Joo-in's developing relationships with each other and their families. One thing I DO really wanna give the writer credit for is making the lead characters so evenly matched. I think they work really well together not just because of the actors but also because of the writing.
I think in the hands of a stronger, more experienced director, this show could pop more. I think I'll have fun watching it because seeing these two together is a joy, but it likely won't end up capturing my heart like Into the Ring and Because This is My First Life! A pity, but one I can live with.
Their dynamic alone can carry the whole show for me, I swear. I love how she has the best responses to him. They're so funny, but then that scene where he takes her to her mom showed the potential for some real sweetness as well. I hope the cute comes quickly!
He's no Nam Se-hee here, that's for sure, but I honestly love to see it. He can play Best Male Lead again another time.
I was so so so scared I would end up hating this but I REALLY enjoyed it and Min-ki is seriously a riot in this…
Oh, also, I totally think the mom had a plan with how she set up the house sale. She wants her son to write rom-coms, so she forces him into a rom-com situation with a girl she really likes. Classic kdrama. If mom didn't orchestrate it I'll eat my foot.
I was so so so scared I would end up hating this but I REALLY enjoyed it and Min-ki is seriously a riot in this role. He's such a hardass but in such a funny, totally inoffensive way, and he's so soft with his mom. Nana is great even when not playing Goo Se-ra and I love how much warmth she has in her portrayal, and again, her scenes with her mom!! It's just a mom appreciation drama, really. No evil mother-in-laws here! I really like their dynamic so far, it's a very familiar setup but the right actors can really make it work and I definitely think they're up to the task.
I thought i was the only one bored with the porcelain doll-like persona.. They always give him a placid, lackluster,…
I suggest you guys check out The Lies Within, or Shut Up: Flower Boy Band, or Spellbound, or Shoot Me in the Heart, or Very Ordinary Couple, or Quick, or Monster, or I could go on and on and on! I think people who've only seen a couple of his recent romances get a very wrong idea about his acting and his range! He's really one of the most versatile actors of his generation.
Is it a problem with Nana ? I love her but I think that she must be difficult person , dunno why
That doesn't seem likely to me--from what I've observed in drama productions, if a member of the cast is a problem then it's much more likely for there to be changes in casting than changes in directors. Directors tend to have more power and are in charge of much of the production. From what I've read it seems like there was an issue with the director and the production company? I don't think we should be making assumptions about what happened though because it could quite literally be anything.
I'm really disappointed because I loved the directing in You Drive Me Crazy and love this cast so was so looking forward to it. If the director is changed, I'm worried it will affect the drama quality...
The NigeHaji plagiarism accusations are ridiculous. The shows have a vaguely similar basic character setup that is actually a common romcom trope, and that's it. The shows themselves are different and stand on their own. I genuinely don't understand how people who have seen both shows could think there was plagiarism.
