I can't stop thinking about this. I think they'd both be idiots to pass on a drama by My Ajusshi's writer, and they both worked with the director before, so hopefully it will happen. Aaaaahhhhhhh.
Hmmm.. why the story plot mentioned Kang Min Hyuk as if he is the Leading Role? Anyway... should i return to Kdrama…
Whoever edited the plot description after his character was announced did a very poor job of it. The main characters are the writer (Lee Min-ki) and actress (Nana). :)
He was so natural and free in The Lies Within! I love Nam Se-hee but I do hope this character is different. I…
I had a similar argument with someone on twitter during Beauty Inside and it's so frustrating because if they watch him in literally ANYTHING else they'll see what incredible range he has! One look at Shut Up: Flower Boy Band or Spellbound or Very Ordinary Couple or Monster or Dal-ja's Spring (and on and on) would convince anyone. The Lies Within wasn't a great drama but he was so great in it and so magnetic, I'm excited to see how he follows it up with this project. He has mentioned intentionally taking on a wide variety of characters throughout his career to expand his range so I have hope he'll serve up something different here, especially with this PD and being paired with Nana.
The leads! I'm screaming!!!Just please for the love of god, don't make Minki portray an emotionless, serious,…

Don't crush my dreaaaams. ? Soulmate was a cult favorite back when it aired, so there's that. And at least the PD is good. Maybe the cast and PD can elevate the script. If the writer does Minki and Nana dirty I'll never forgive him!
it's the first time I've seen his acting skills really used. Didn't know he had it in him. He's really amazing.
Oh, he’s a fantastic actor. I’ve seen nearly his entire filmography and his only bad performance is Beauty Inside—but seeing how gloriously he bounced back from that, I blame bad directing and a terrible character. Everything else he’s been great in, and he’s extremely versatile.
Lee Min-ki is so freaking good in this drama, especially these past few episodes. I’m enjoying the drama as a whole more now but even if I wasn’t I’d watch the whole thing just for him. I love his character, too. He’s so level-headed and patient and methodical, seeing everything that’s happening to and around him and seeing him start to crack is heartbreaking.
Omg this is amazing. A whole different level than most of the articles on this site, which I honestly usually ignore. Thank you so much! The historical context in period dramas and movies is so so important.
omg am i the only one who liked it lmao i see so many comments/reviews that thought it was bad in the past like…
I don't know why the MDL community is so negative about it... the people on this site puzzle me sometimes lol. But it was quite popular on Dramabeans and both Javabeans and Girlfriday really enjoyed it!!
To The Beautiful You was the WORST. At least Boys Over Flowers was an entertaining trainwreck. TTBY was just painfully boring with characters that acted like aliens. Haven't bothered to watch Heirs because I'm 90% sure I'll hate it.
Yessss, some of my favorite dramas here! Legal High, Bloody Monday, Kazoku Game, and of course the best adaptation of the (in)famous BoF, Hana Yori Dango! Not to mention SPEC. Rich Man, Poor Woman is a popular one but I didn't like it as much as I hoped, the beginning was much too slow for me. Great article nonetheless! J-Dramas need more love!
I haven't seen it but I've heard that the male lead in Dal-ja's Spring is a great guy :) And oh my god. I loved MNIKSS because of Sam-soon herself, but Sam-shik got on my NERVES. So I totally get you. Keep up your writing! Your articles are by far the best on this site! :)
And Healer is bae.
Loved Witch's Romance overall, and PSJ was great in it, but there were a couple moments where I was like... really? UJH's character seemed so capable much of the time but she also had lots of moments where I wanted to shake her because she was being so NOT capable. Especially concerning her ex. I wish they had cut him out of the drama much earlier so we could have had more fun times with PSJ and UJH.
