I didn't say his acting was bad, I've seen him in several dramas before.His acting is fine, but the character he plays here does not fit him as he is unable to portray the imposing demeanor of his character's rank. The story is definitely boring, they did poorly in grasping audience's attention from the begining. I have seen many dramas but of slow progression but it wasn't ever this bad.
I don't know if it's because I dislike Bai Jiu Si as a character or cause the actor, Joseph, just seems less imposing due to his babyface and lack of charisma compare to Bailu's past xianxia drama male leads. Or perhaps the story was written terriblly, I don't know! Regardless, I'm losing interest! Currently on ep 11. ..

FCC stole most of the show with his jokes, pranks and melodramatic acting. lol He made this episode hilarious af. 🤣 Ao Rui Peng was on a freaken roll during the name tag ripping game. I think his height gives him an advantage, I wish he was the permanent member now. He would be a menace. I hope to see him next season (with Bailu team again hahahaa) I can see the friendship between Bai Lu and ARP: the way she said he was amazing, and he said I won't let you lose and really he didn't lose!!!! 🥰 Plus she remembers his jokes. lol Zhang Zhen Yuan hid his identity very well! I agree. There was a lot of things that lead up to my conclusion about her role in Keep Running. Many of them were quite negative. I can go as far back as the marathon: She's way too confident, and doesn't notice her own lack of abilities and strength. She said she was going to run the 1000m, then there was moment she says that she has NEVER ran in her LIFE. I was like, ".........then why did u say u wanted to run1000m?????" The team KNEW she wouldn't be able to do it so they placed her in 500m. (This was BEFORE she said she never ran in her life btw.) >.> This is not the only time the team puts her in a position to make it easy for her, they did it in the recent episode as well. She was also the first to touch up her makeup, Li Chen pointed this out and I was like, "That is quite strange, definitely the first to ever done that on broadacst while the DIRECTOR IS SPEAKING." The second time she was overconfident in herself really left a bad taste in my mouth which was when she said the game is not as impressive as the other game she played. FCC said in all 13 seasons, no one dare question the director's games design but Meng Ziyi is the first. Literally the one and only. Funny thing is she was the FIRST to fail and didn't understand the game and BLAMED FCC and Zhengyuan because she thought they didn't do it right when it was HER fault they kept messing up. The tug-o-war game - you can clearly see she was being dominated by the female guest, I think it was Ling Jie(?). So when MZY and Yuqi was up against the same guest and Bailu, it was very obvious MZY didn't put in much energy. Yuqi is known to be quite strong, she carried that team really hard. It was funny because MZY was like, "Wow, we actually won!" No, Yuqi won, you just... touched the rope.
She's better off in other varieties that requires less energy and strength. I'm sure there's better guests out there. Victor Ma would've been great, I loved the effort he put into the games, he can be quite funny as well. lol

She seemed quite rude or overconfident on a few occassions, and was definitely low energy in a lot of the games. By this point, the rest of the cast members already know when she's on their team, they're going to have issues. I don't think she's funny either. Sha Yi brings a lot of humor to the group imo, he's funny, I love him even if he's not the best at games.
