I'll be the killjoy, and say I had a hard time watching this??? I was honestly really excited for this when it was announced because I absolutely adored the webtoon that this was based off of. but the execution was so ??? bad?? the chemistry was off, and I found the pacing too fast for my liking :') we could blame it on the very little episodes it has, but I mean other BLs manage to pace their stories well with the same amount of episodes. kinda disappointed with this, especially since the original source material for this was top tier :'))
Love tractor the webtoon was literally my comfort webtoon, and now the drama is gonna be my comfort drama fr T.T everything's so soft, and OH MY GOD I LOVE YECHAN T.T
First 2 eps were good, but ep 3 threw me off, the series so far seems a bit disappointing. Everythings very fast paced. i rlly wanted to like this bc i absolutely loved the webtoon :’) hopefully the next few episodes would make it better, im still cheering this show on :’)))

As someone who has read the novel and the webtoon, this drama was such a good adaptation!! (OFC It isnt exactly like the webtoon/novel) Seoham and Jaechan WERE PERFECT FOR JAEYOUNG AND SANGWOO IM LITERALLY ON THE FLOOOR WJAHFGWEJKFH and the way they managed to squeeze everything in perfectly into 8 episodes is mind boggling??? It was paced so freaking well AHGGGGG THE CHEMISTRY SO GOOD TOO BYE IM GONNA CRY NOW SEASON 2 PLS
Bruh, i would have loved the heck out of this drama but the scene where hanseo and cha young were kidnapped just went downhill for me. Vincenzo lost his braincells, and i would've maybe **maybe** understand if he was the regular protagonist guy throwing his rationality for the GiiRLL he loves but HES LITERALLY An ITALIAN MAFIA BOSS DUDE, liKE???? AND HANSEO DIDNT DESERVE TO DIE LIKE THAT???? I was yelling at the tv the whole time Vincenzo was just staring at cha young then staring at hanseo like dUDE DO SOMETHING PLEASE??? Cha young's gunshot wound was on her shoulder, while hanseo was literally fighting for his life?? BOYYYYYY And i see people arguing that hanseo deserved to die (i disagree btw) but even if he was going to die, couldn't he have died better?? Like his whole redemption arc ​just got ignored, literally vincenzo and him having a hyung-dongsaeng relationship already, then at the last minute he just forgets hanseo because gooOrL got Hurt??? DUDE PLEASE??? AND ISNT CHA YOUNG A TOUGH GIRL LIKE SHE COULD HAVE HANDLED WAITING WHILE VINCENZO HELPED FIGHT WITH HANSEO LIKE?? ughHHH
if only they didn't make vincenzo dumb in that scene, this drama would have been one of my favourites. Because everything else was really good, and there's no denying that I laughed my ass off watching this drama, and the ending itself was pretty satisfying but I just can't get over Vincenzo losing braincells in that one scene :')

You should! Although the current season of the donghua only touches the surface of the entire story, but based on how it's pretty accurate and in line with the original novel's plot, the story is going to get deeper and more intricate I can promise you that! It's really good! (You'll see a snippet near the end of the season hehe is that a spoiler?? >.<) Season 2 has already been confirmed but the date hasnt been announced yet, it's most likely going to air late this year or early next year
This is a really refreshing historical drama and is probably one of my favorites now.
However, it may look like it, but it's not a full on romcom, so if you're expecting a very lighthearted drama, you probably won't like it. But at least for me, i thought it was a good balance of a light drama and a heavy drama.
The second episode was hilarious, but at the same time there's a lot of hints being dropped about the more serious aspect of the drama, And I LOVE IT, Cai is really a lil tsundere boi AHHGGGG
