After I completed this drama I don't get why the ratings are that low. For a long time it was below 8.0 and that's why I didn't start watching it for a long time. But damn - I wish I did. It was different and refreshing to see some other theme in the kdrama world. I enjoyed it a lot :)
Nothing but I wanted to watch a series about the porn industry and not actual porn. They could have done that without showing too much and too explicit sex scenes. Then I wouldn't have dropped it.
It's been a while that I've seen such a good series that even the OST remains in my head. I loved the chemistry and relationships between all the characters. I recommend 10/10!
Just curious why you feel the man should be older…???
Never said that. I just said that I'm not into it. But in the end I just didn't feel the connection between the leads in WYWS. I watched other older woman younger man dramas and I didn't mind them. I actually liked them and did ship the leads. I just don't feel it here.
I know this is a porn centered series but damn - it was kinda too much for me. It was interesting for sure but the sex/porn scenes were too explicit that it felt like I was actually watching porn. I dropped it because I seriously can't watch this anymore because of that. Even tho the story behind it is actually interesting but it's too much for me even tho I'm not someone who minds some sex scenes but the lenght of the sex scenes were too long for my liking.
The first one was hilarious & is one of the funniest series I've ever seen. I'm halfway through the first episode…
After watching the first episode I thought that this might be not that bad but episode two was really boring. After that I stopped watching more. So I guess the answer is no.
I also have to agree with the majority of the comments. This reboot is boring and the new cast is trying too hard to be funny. The only one who did a good job is Yuri as Aebong.
I'm really impressed at Myungsoo's acting. I've never seen him like this before. I haven't seen a drama with him in years but I can say his acting improved a lot. I wonder how his acting is in recent dramas. But there is one thing bothering me and it's the FL. Her acting seems so emotionless and dull. I don't feel anything at any scene for her. Her face impression never or just slightly changes.
Anyway I wasn't expecting much because just looking at the cover I thought this is going to be a sweet romance but I was mistaken. The first episodes were surprisingly good and I thought this wasn't going to be romance centered but I was mistaken again. When the loops happend to often I thought what's the point in even repeating the day? My question was answered a few episodes later but I thought the reason was kinda 'meh'.
Also I didn't really feel the chemistry between the leads. I could have felt something in the last episode but the feeling wasn't strong enough to actually make me cry. They could have done it shorter because there were scenes where I wasn't even looking at the screen because I got bored. The first episodes were really promising but it went downhill after episode 3-4.
Even tho it got boring to me midway I cried so much during the end. I did expect this ending but I didn't expect to cry so much. I don't know how to rate this drama tbh.
I don't know if I made a mistake or not by watching season 2 after several years. I couldn't remember any characters or the story at all except for Yi Na (and a bit of Jinmyeong) because she was my favorite character. That's why I was a bit sad that she left after the first episode ;( When I read the comments I thought they are going to change the actress for Eun Jae througout the series but then I realized they already changed her from the beginning because I couldn't remember her at all in season 1. I felt kinda stupid ngl. I guess this was the only good thing that I watched it years after they released it because I didn't mind Eun Jae and her story because I couldn't remember the other actress who played her in season 1. Her story was pretty realistic in some way because like she said in the series herself: It was her first relationship and her first breakup so she didn't know how to handle her feelings. I could relate to her to some extent because I know how she felt like in this moment and yes, you do lie to yourself and do stupid things. Ofc not everyone behaves likes this after her/his first breakup but I did think it was pretty realistic because there are people who do behave like her.
Like everyone else I wished to see more of Jiwon and Sungmin's relationship develop because they were my favorite in this whole series.
I didn't care for Eun's relationship at all because I was actually rooting for her and her best friend. When I realized where it was going I was really disappointed and then I stopped caring for her. I also didn't like how it ended between her and her best friend who she knew for 12 years just because of a guy.
Also I'm not sure if I'm the only one but I don't think Yeeun's new boyfriend will make her happy in the long run. They kinda don't fit each other. I'm pretty sure she would be frustrated because he doesn't say or do things like she wants/expects him to.
One of my favorites characters in this season, besides Jiwon and Sungmin, was Jinmyeong! I really enjoyed her parts and her interaction with the idol :)
Overall I think it was a really good series. I really enjoyed everyone's story and it was a pleasure to watch. Even tho it left us with a somehow open ending, it was a good watch.
I would've REALLY liked it if there was a lesbian relationship. Man, I was rooting so much for Eun and her friend :( It would've been such a refereshing change to see.
I loved the chemistry and relationships between all the characters.
I recommend 10/10!
