I think the romance is rushed! There was no yearning or angst,, they just fall in love at ep 11ep? Got a wife in 13ep cleared the misunderstanding at 14ep??

Can you recommend more dramas like Pursuit of Jade? I really loved the cinematography of this drama, not to mention how well written both leads were, the story was also so smooth and easy to grasp from the very first minute of the drama.
I'm new to Chinese historical drama, I did watch a few but couldn't finish all of em. Pursuit of jade is the most appealing one to me.

Just finished watching. I was unsure to try this one out but glad I watched this masterpiece!! I've watched other historical dramas too but this was is different it handled the history and the characters goal, romance so beautifully that it hurts. Got to knew so many stuff about the Quin and Jeoson. I'm curious to know more. BIT SPOILER--- They did leaked while giving them their beloved ending. Still it was a marvelous to enjoy this script, soundtrack and the beloved characters. Would love it more only if they gived us five more extra minutes of Gil Chae and Jang Hyun together. Just assuring they are now or had been living happily ever since then. And I don't know why in the world they have to start the story from 1659 like it's basically 20 years of gap,, I'm devastated to think that what I was watching was the leads old days, all their struggles every obstacle they had to gone through before being together. I deserve to see them live happily TT
And what's with Ryang Eum like if Jang Hyun is alive tthere is no way he did sought out to find his friend like younger brother? So how come Ryang is in cell??

I was truly, really waiting to see them together in their happily married life, I was hopping that we will at least have 5 minutes left out for that. But.... it's not that I'm dissatisfied or disappointed it's just I'm still traumatised and anxious that something might go wrong again.
They cloud just showed us some glimpse of them living a happy life.

They are also some good ones , not similar to My Dearest but they do also set the bar high
But I know I ain't gonna feel the same way this soon...
