they're not related by blood. ml is their neighbor and the sml is kinda like adopted brother. no serious love triangles. there are two side characters who have crush on fl and sml but its not a plot point.it actually was a good serie and quite enjoyable but i personally preferred not to have the romance in this one

she said fl and ml so about the characters, but oh God i didnt even realize the actors had this much of an age difference! i thought hyun wook was 25 or sth. i am 29 and my little brother is 23 and now i feel really uncomfortable after checking the actors' ages🫠

it was a good serie and i enjoyed it, but i don't think I'm gonna rewatch it.
i started watching this because of HIY but honestly didn't like the main couple's romance and skipped their kiss scenes because it felt weird to me. the secound couple were cute

they don't. what i'm saying is that spamming the comments or protesting on this website doesnt change anything. Koreans worship the west and whatever the western politicians say, they repeat like a parrot and they actually do not care about other countries' situations or their culture or anything about other countries

yes, but does it make the whole serie so bad? i personally fully enjoyed 10/12 episodes, i think the ratings are harsh for that

i understand that it was ridiculous and a very unnecessary scene to be added and also the whole ML going to some made up war torn country was ridiculous and unnecessary but honestly the outrage on mdl is not gonna affect the producers and screen writers etc in South Korea and this is not the first time i see misinformation in a kdrama, they are very unaware of what happens outside their country and only believe whatever they translate from American news. that one scene does not make the whole serie bad though, the performance the actors worked so hard for.

ok, what was the need to trash Love Next Door under another drama's comment section? i enjoyed both dramas. its ok if you didnt like the other one but i dont see why you need to compare that one to this?

he is a good actor and a good person. dont read stupid comments, just see if u like the serie or not

i'm sorry but i do hear how people talk in real life and i have not met a person who talks like this. a shy person often talks in low voice or mumbles. not say a word, lag for 30 seconds and then speak another word. as i said, she speaks like a person who recently learned a new language and tries to have a conversation in that language.
and abou the other part, it was really confusing to me. the begining of the first episode when he suddenly jumped in their chat and started giving recipes and then it seemed like they have actually known eachother for a longer time and hat conversations before and he happened to jump in their conversations that day? or it was their first time and then suddenly started talking after that? i dont know and i didnt really understand what happened and i dont care honestly because i stopped watching the serie. i'm not criticizing the story, i just couldn't connect with it and started watching it because i loved the ml actor in lyf

and they didnt even cook any of those recipes,they just randomly told eachother the recipes and went and ate noodles instead

i do not want to complain but why does the fl talk like this? its like she recently learned how to talk, has to think 15 second to load her vocabulary. i could understand if she only talked with the ml or strangers like that,i'd say she was shy or sth but she talks like that with her friends and family as well like how uncomfortable is she?
P.S : im not hating on fl, her character is sweet but i just dont understand why she talks like this.
i also dont understand the random recipe drops in their conversations

the first few episodes were kinda boring for me but as it went on it became better and the few last episodes were gold😂😂 i was really satisfied with the ending and im glad that there was no love triangle bs.
Ah, it was kinda funny how awful Junho's character was most of this serie but his facial features and expressions were too cute that i couldnt hate him

the fl cut her hair and then as soon as they got a contract, her hair suddenly grew back. her hair remained awful the whole serie.
ML's make up for his historical movie was so awful i was cringing looking at him😂

was i implying that he is a bad actor? the actor and his characters are seperate and as i said,i've seen him in another serie prior to this and i'm not even against plastic surgery if its done to look natural but hi nose and jaw are too pronounced it looks unnatural and i do not mean to degrade him by this.
now about his character,his character literally just walks around agreeing to everything amd does nothing else. does nothing else, doesnt even have a hobby for God's sake. being kind doesnt mean acting like your pet dog. i do like kind characters. his is not a "kind" character, he acts like a love slave and a simpleton who lets everyone walk all over him. there is kindness in all of their characters, i think your definition of kindness is " someone who is GENTLE, someone who doesnt talk, someone who does nothing and has no goal and someone who lets everyone walk all over him". didnt all of them save some ppl? didnt they all want to protect ppl close to them? didnt xiang liu save her multiple times? taught her to defend herself without magic and giving his life just so she can live happily?(well thats gonna be in season 2) is that not considered kindness? even the cousin, wasnt he kind to her before even knowing who she really was and when he wanted the antidote to poison from her he made sure not hurt her unnecessarily, didnt her show kindess towards ppl around him? its not that Jing is a kind character, he is what i said. you coul've said "gentle" and i'd agree with that because you can't say just because someone shouts at you one time, he does not have any kindness.
