you are allowed to have your opinion. it's ok. i understand that he sounded harsh but he was right, he didn't owe her anything for rejecting her but she was the one pushing and he got uncomfortable obviously tried avoiding this so he said what he said so she can move on and stop pursuing. although he does have many flaws and did nany wrongs i do not blame him in this situation

i don't know why you're typing an essay but i had something like "all my children" (i dont remember the exact name of the serie) which was also shot in the house of jh parents in this serie and was also a family drama. but yeah, i pretty much hated playful kiss with passion that i vould not tolerate the girl. hated boys over flowers as well. i often avoided those types of extreme dramas and from the newer ones you named i just watched bon appetit your majesty for 3 eps before i dropped it.
as i told the other person in the comment, i don't think the ml was abusive towards fl here, he was just miserable and was avoiding getting help or opening up and communicating and then expected others to read his mind and know how he feels and at the end he started lashing out and making himself miserable but I'm glad he got over that.

yes. that's the character development. older kdramas were like this as well, so many of them with the ml having bad behaviour and then becoming better and change as the plot goes on. i think newer kdrama fans are not very familiar with this format and don't like it

he was blunt but as for his relationship with the FL he tried to be gentle with her at first when he rejected her but she kept on pushing so he just became blunt with her and then she kept on making assumptions and stories and even when he didn't particularly had anything to do with her she kept pestering his work as if the space belonged to her. i think if the FL kept respectful and had not pushed he would've stayed respectful as well. but aside from that he did annoy me with bitching about "how noone understands me" well boo hoo, although i am glad he got over that and took action instead of wallowing in misery. i have watched 10 episodes as well but i still find this enjoyable, and as i said this has an old kdrama format and the leads are gonna have development throughout the serie

to see if a series is good i go to its wikipedia page and see its rating there. mydramalist ratings are sometimes affected by clowns. "cliche", bruh, every single kdrama has some cliches. and also you write a whole review based on one episode? there were many dramas that i did not like the first episode of but thoroughly enjoyed the rest. stop it, get some help, put some worthwhile comment and criticism

very beautiful serie. going through hardships made me realize it is not only me that suffers such in this world.
there's only one complaint : Yang Geum Myeong cried way too many times all the time and it got annoying for me a little.

i watched 3 eps. is this a tiger and rose rip off? why does the plot seem so similar to that and also love game in eastern fantasy? does it become different further on?
