This article is rather pointless. I usually like to read contrary opinions to my own when they are well stated... but reading what you wrote, it makes me realize that there are no solid arguments, or well thought out statements. Nothing about this makes me think twice about what could be wrong with the dramas you mention.
Seriously, with poorly written articles like this, it makes me think I could start writing posts and do a better job of it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but before you write something at least back it up with some actual constructive criticism, because even I can point out the flaws and I actually enjoyed these dramas.

I want to see him doing more main roles. There is something about his acting and voice that draws you in.

I binged watched this drama. It was a hell of a ride, but the ending.. was unfair. A big NOPE. Made me even more angry watching them eat omurice.

I was enjoying this drama so much. Mermaid silliness aside, this was a heartwarming story about entering adulthood. It's not only about finding a job and someone to share your life, but it's also about having to make difficult decisions while appreciating life and every little moment you have with the ones you love. They cut it down to 10 episodes and I honestly don't know how they are going to fit everything into 2 episodes. There are so many characters and so many interesting stories. Even if they just focus Ha Ni, 2 episodes won't be enough for her to realize what her hear truly feels, or for her to value the important things and understand what is to be human and to live as a human. So disappointing. :(
On Gunman in Joseon Sep 8, 2014
To people coming here wondering if they should watch this drama... please take the score and the reviews with a grain of salt. I'm appalled at so many negative comments toward this drama. I thought it was absolutely brilliant. Finally a drama that fits with the actual timeline of real historical events, even though its fictional. Although it had it's slow moments and it's clichés like every drama, it was still very engaging. The more I watch dramas and comment on dramas, the less I care about other people's tastes. I took the time to check a few user's DL to see which dramas they gave high score. I found that people that gave Joseon Gunman a low score gave scores of 10 to dramas I gave a score of 6 or didn't even bother to watch. We don't all have similar tastes. My preference is not another person's preference, but what bothers me is coming here and read such biased reviews, that are not actually reviews, but just rants on how much they hated the drama. In a way, I'm glad I don't give much credit to reviews and scores on this site, or I would have missed some superb dramas, that's for sure.

I had high hopes for this drama, but it was a disappointment in so many aspects. Towards the end this drama had really poor writing and story telling. Too many plot holes and inconsistencies. Irrelevant side characters and side stories. Too many episodes to keep me interested. It was a real challenge to actually finish watching it. Watch the movie and skip this.

I love this drama, I do, but the end was sloppy and unsatisfying. To me the end didn't feel happy at all, since we barely got any OTP moments at all. And those that we had, were short and bitter-sweet... or just plain sad. Yes he came back (with an half-assed explanation), but we hardly got to see any truly happy moments, only faint or sad smiles. And now that the cut scene is going to be aired, it only makes me feel they cheated us out of our happy ending. A couple years from now people are going to watch the last episode and not see the true ending.

I have "when a man loves" and "7th Grade Civil Servant" on hold because I couldn't bring myself to watch any more of it. I kept telling myself I would finish them some day, but now, after reading this, I don't think I will.

I absolutely loved this article. It expresses everything I sometimes think about, while watching a drama. When I first began watching dramas I had to look up a lot of terms like oppa and unnie on the internet, because I couldn't exactly understand the manner in which they were used. Even today and after watching a lot of dramas, when I come across a poorly translated part, even if its just a line, it makes me feel like I missed something important, and no matter how hard you try you can't understand what was said just by looking at body language and facial expressions.
