I was looking forward to this, hoping for a good sports drama after Hot Stove League but it didn’t quiet meet my need. It’s still a good drama though but have to put it on hold for now.

I finished it before the episodes became restricted in naver. I followed it weekly too, but the waiting was not as hard as it is now with the drama Lol

I thought they could have done it earlier but we would have lost more audience haha. I’m very satisfied as far as the adapation is concerned. I’m so excited now.

These are not filler episodes. They are actually presenting the main issue of the drama now. This is why those who read the webtoon like me find the latest episodes more interesting. If it does not work for you now I am afraid it really isn’t for you because this is the main story.

Great article! I am a fan of the webtoon and this drama gave it soul. I’m curious to know what you think about episodes 11 and 12. These episodes seem to the turning point for many viewers.

I still disagree so let’s agree to disagree but anyway, in bigger scheme of things this is not even a factor in the gap between Lee Dam and Wooyeo. They have whole different issue between them that’s more important. It’s not like Lee Dam broke up with him because she has feelings for Sunwoo. Maybe she was too quick to drop the b word but it was definitely not because of toilet fairy. He is nothing but a footnote.

I guess so hahaha. All this waiting for the next episode is so hard.

No she isn’t. That’s Lee Dam for you. She values herself and knows what she’s worth. But I have to strongly disagree that she showed any affection for the SML. If anything she has been savage to him, he’s just as stubborn as a dirty gum on the shoe and what do you think could she have done to him, hit him with a pan? She even left her part time job because of these two blokes.

Which scenes are you referring where the FL interacted “unnecessarily” with the SML aside from the quick moment of confusion in episode 12? And to be honest Lee Dam’s character is meant to be the independent woman who puts herself first even when it comes to love. So maybe you’re right she does not have the eternal one true love die for you affection towards the ML and that’s just in her character and I like her for that. However she had compromised enough given her character and what she has been told of the situation so far by the ML and thankfully with more detail, by Hyesun.

I’ve read the webtoon and this is the part I’ve been waiting for tbh haha.

“I was willing to bear with it. Even if I was always had to be scared to death just to hold your hand, I was willing to bear it. I wanted this relationship despite of everything…you lied to me and you used me (referring to their early meeting which was actually horrible of him), I liked you. So many things scared and worried me, but all I cared about is if I would hurt you.”

All she asked was for him to have been honest with her. Human lives are in line. That was something Wooyeo never understood. I do note Lee Dam does not know the complete stakes for Wooyeo yet, but that was the point he never told her, thinking only he can solve his problems.

The things with the SML were all artificial created to propel them, no thanks to the intervening deity. Even with that invisible power Lee Dam has never for a second showed the SML any affection other than basic respect.

I’m with you! I’ve enjoyed it more since episode 10.

I love the second couple too but this is not a comedy sitcom with a flat storyline. Second couple is able to enjoy a lighter feel good storyline because the main couple has to take the brunt of the “mandatory conflict” in all stories since time immemorial to bring it all to the necessary end.

She was angry at him for putting another person’s life in danger for her sake. It was never about jealousy. Watch it again and flesh out what she said.

I still love it despite all the problems. I feel like I am in this fight along with them. Of course people will say they like the second couple more, they have no complications! But this isn’t a daily sitcom, and I’m here for ride. I don’t get why people don’t understand why conflicts are necessary in a story. You may want to watch Jake and Amy in Brooklyn99 instead LOL. Fighting Lee Dam and Oreushin!

Edit: even Jake and Amy had huge issues >.< so I don’t know what complete feel good romance to suggest for you sorry. Keep watching for the second couple I guess

Agree. There’s absolutely no question on who is the pair here. I would not even bother putting a spoiler tag to say sunwoo is just a tool. It’s a fake love triangle if anything.

I read some reaction that the confession was not very momentous. It's true because in the webtoon it was even farther from being a head-spinning, fireworks blasting declaration of love. It actually happened inside the classroom! It would have been out of character for both Shin Wooyeo and Lee Dam to be love drunk, although they will eventually, especially Wooyeo.

Just MRIAG staying true to its form lol. Lest we forget what it is at its core. I cringed so hard too but I knew it is what it is, just genuine goofiness.

I know she still has a lot of room for improvement especially in the way she speaks but for the fact that she sets the mood of the story means she's doing a good job. I keep thinking which actress in her age could play the role of Dam and I couldn't think of anyone else. There are a lot of talented actresses but who has the same charisma as her? A character like Lee Dam cannot be simply and technically acted in my view.
