If I don't like the male lead and main romance of a drama, I won' waste my time watching it, lol
Haha true, to his each own I guess but imagine watching only 10 mins of a drama with no context, might as well skip the whole thing lol

Hyeri’s so good at showing confused and hurt, but yearning emotions altogether. I’d even say I like her more in the serious scenes than the comedy ones here (I still like her in them ofc).

LHR's acting made this a lot more interesting than i thought
Right, I’ve seen comments saying they like the drama but not hyeri’s acting which does not make sense because pretty much everything revolved around her character and she carried them out driving the plot, so what did they actually watch I wonder haha

I think because the ml is not toxic person and selfless while he sense the girl scared of him instead of be airhead…
Not only that, it has something to do with Dam misunderstanding something important. Wooyeo said it himself that "in love there is always some delusion". I feel like we are being led to see the same thing as Dam. We'll see.

This drama somehow requires you to watch from a fresh perspective and leave your expectations aside. I don't know if it's just me, but as cliche-ridden as it may be, there's something different about this I can't quiet grasp yet. The drama has given the webtoon a soul, contrary to just giving life to it so I don't quiet agree with those who would compare the two frame by frame. Also, the webtoon author was engaged in the production so I think she learned a thing or two from experienced drama writers. The manhwa itself was very simple but has a lot of potential to be something greater.

acting is the weakest part of this series :/
I respect your view but I think Hyeri and JKY deserve the praise as well. The over-all positive feedback would not have been possible if not for how they worked together, if you consider the key scenes/moments that literally focused on them.

Ironically, the cast is the strongest part for me. The chemistry between the love interests and the friends, even the siblings are great.

Lol Beauty is not objective. She's prettier to you, not necessarily to everyone else xD
I find your use of the word “obvious” hilarious. You’re funny hahaha

Title My Roommate Is a Gumiho Spoiler
I'm bit confused. the webtoon she must avoid all males that are born in the year of the rooster and in the drama…
Yes to adjust with a logical age for a college student nowadays.

When Dam fell and she shouted that the guy shouldn’t catch her, she actually braced herself for the impact just how we’re taught in case of accidents...with arms crossed. What a sensible woman LMAO

Based on the character description and Hyeri's last movie project (Minji in Pansori Boxer), she somehow fits. They don't match that well visually though, imo.

Those judging Hyeri could you take it easy for now? There must be a reason for Producers to be hiring her, considering this is iQIYI's first Korean original production. You must check out her last two projects Miss Lee and Pansori Boxer, where she acted pretty well.
