Or sometimes i see people say certain character is red flag bcs their job makes them seems ruthless. It could be the case for XH since he looks like that on duty but his off duty personality is fine to me. So yup, red flag for job only.

Obv he doesn't have enough resource and maturity to handle most FL problem and yes not witty enough compare to Jiang cousin. I think it's bcs Jiang cousin doesn't really care about etiquette so he's able to see more compare to SML who still try to keep respectable distance.

I think it's bcs the adults on scene were servants and once the stepmom accused her out loud no one could say the opposite cuz it means against lady of the house. Beside her image was a good stepmom so most people couldn't imagine she could make false accusation. The grandma was passive and prefer not to involve with household drama and her father, well, blinded by her new wife charm. So yup, no one speak for her.

That could explain her behavior towards her Father Xue but not the people. They act way too familiar around her when she supposed to be official daughter.

Yup they act like they see the butterflies during her sister performance and how her soul fly to fight whatever that is, so it's quite unexplainable.

I was so persistent not to watch this drama, even made ridiculous reasoning to distant myself but the moment i saw that scene, i knew i lost the battle with myself.
