He is out element in Moonlight. Kim Yoo Jung definitely outhinedhim. I don't watch that drama till end thought. He is not fit in sageuk genre I THINK

Yes I agree. Just because the drama revolved on one characters, it doesn't mean it's bad. The writers doesn't need to develop every character if it's not important in her narrative or her story.

I agree. For someone who watched korean drama and korea movie in early 2000, in the past the story is dominated by male and the female leads feels like given less depth compare to male lead. Even in my fav show..

I only like Park Bo Gum in Hello monster and Reply 1988. The rest of his work, he really get outshined by his leading lady and in sageuk particularly, his limitation is showing.

And I only liked jang ki young in hug and kill me and my mister. The rest of his work, he is very lackluster.

It's abit far fetch they blame only on Song Hye Kyo. I loved her performances in that winter the wind blows, and in DOTS she is doing a good job playing a doctor. Song Hye Kyo is is just always get typecast with the roles we already know she is good at. that's why public are complaining. I would be moan too if my fav actor always getting the same roles over and over with the same style character
and I'm not confident Kim Eun Seok writing will elevate her acting.

I'm not confident with Kim Eun Seok doing a revenge drama. Can she do it? Heirs is such a hot mess. But that drama has the worse director. She is okay writing MR Sunshine, but it's also carried by Director who is very inspiring.


Then again, revenge drama can at times carried by good director and good acting.

Both Park Bo Gum and Jang Ki Young are limit actor. They are both so bad in Acting alongside her. They might be better in another roles, but they are bad when they are act opposite her. Don't blame only one side. . I have no idea what's make Jang Ki Young become lackluster after his good performances in come and Huge me, heck even before Now We are breaking up.

Drag Down? I bet if Kim EUn Seok write Lee Do Hyun's character well, he won't be bad like Park Bo Gum and Jang Ki Young because he is technically the better actor.
