Based on asianwiki, The screenwriter will be Kim Yi-Young, who wrote Hwajung, Haechi. I 'm watching Hwajung and script is very underwhelming. Might be she is not into long story. The star also is abit on my doubt list. they are decent actor, just they are not as strong as Kim CHul Kyu's previous star.

some people might be think the couple is not doing it for them. And I think This drama is way more cheesy than Business Proposal especially add to their childhood conection is so cliche. But man, This is one of the sweetest couple. Like Despite him being blind, she love him, she basically loving him and being there for him in his most difficult time and despite her neck is on the line by being with him. Him Being posessed by demon and they tried their hardest to protect each other. And add to their sincere acting to each other, no wonder they won best couple awards despite many people think Our beloved summer has better chemistry.

Nowadays, Many drama is so obsessed of making the male lead is so perfect and always be the one protect the female lead. and being the prince charming and knight for the female lead. I'm glad for once, This drama depict the opposite, like The male lead is basically so pitiful and vulnerable, and in his most difficult period when they meet, and the female lead being there for him despite all the handicap he face is so sweet and touching,

the screenwriter is ... none of her drama hold my attention. I love the director. and I hope it won't be another miss a mark like flower of evil. the director and acting was what the drama at least watchable for me.

I love Yo In Shik directing in this. really set right all the right mood.

the example of Noir genre, Please watch My Name on netflix or Heartless City Staring Jung Kyung Ho. It's more about A dark side of the world as far as I know. If you want something dark, like Prostitution, drugs dealer, loan shark, etc exploration kind of the world. . Depict of The Harsh reality in the dark world. korean drama rarely explore noir genre, but more often present in movie I think.

Enjoying this drama so much PD Yo In Sik is doing a great job here. for some reason I love his directing here abit more than in season 1. it's just more inspiring, with the young actor pulling one of their best acting. Lee Sung Kyung and Ahn Hyo Seop are so inspiring and on fire here. Didn't expecting Ahn Hyo Seop would be able to pull off this kind of cold character given his previous work. all his previous work he seems so youthful and smile alot. here he looks grumpy and cold and he maintain that cold persona in the whole drama is quite a feat for a young actor like him. though at times he looks abit lack confidence and tense that affect his performances in some scene, but overall very good performances I prefer AHS than yo yun seok who at times abit underwhelming potraying the complexity of his character.

Lee Sung Kyung is tone down her aegyo alot and give justice to the character of Cha Eun Jae. this is for me her most comfortable performances I've seen from her. nuance performances, and It's help her character is written with good depth.

uri Kim Go Eun will be in this, can't wait! hope this drama will be a good one. almost all her drama is a miss in terms of quality for me, though i love yumi cell.

in terms of writing, I think I love this drama better than my mister. the overall character of the four leads is more explore. what makes me love my mister more is probably the acting is more passionate and nuance, it make your heart has more strong connection to the leads. all in all a good drama.

the best acting among the four lead is our Ki Jeong Lee El.the last time I see her act is my beautiful bride.

I would be worry if someone like , Seo In Guk, who has limit range acting as Li Zi Wei... But Ahn Hyo Seoo has proven with romantic dr and business proposal he can give great depth to the character Li zi wei. I think I rate him high when I watch him in Romantic Dr, because not very young male can give that kind of mature performances. Taiwanese actor in original is not exactly giving exceptional performances. But not bad either. But good enough to execute a scene. Greg Hsu is the best actor among the three though... So I have no idea why everyone complain about casting of these three, who I think give better performances in their previous project.
But opinion can be subjective I think.

so offensive. I've never think just because they are korean, they act better. Kim So Hyun is awsome. I love some taiwan actor. but in this, none of them give amazing performances.I'm not saying they are bad though. just not mindblowing. the fans really sugarcoated the acting

don't get about the critics about the casting to be honest. Why the cast have to act like original cast? there is a reason why this is a remake. they can change certain point, or else there will be no surprise to the story. including what they write the character traits. as long as they are not messing it and make the story even richer. I think it will be fine.

and it's not like the original cast has some masterpieces acting performances and they can't get overperformed by these three. Agree about Hwang In Yeop, but Ahn Hyo Seop has more skill. So I understand why PD choose AHS

it's more into reply 1988 in thriller mode Imo... there is of melo element in it too..

the standout is the acting and chemistry, I think.. many very well act rom com end up being a hits.. they give so much energy to the cliches drama. and well round good ensemble cast with their acting, charm, and chemistry. but a hits drama seems unpredictable.

I myself completely charmed by it...and I'm not someone into something like wwwsk.

watch him in Reset. Such a natural acting for Reset. Outstanding performances along with the female lead!

their body is proposional and they are oozing charisma. but their face despite really a handsome man is like, not perfect? it shows when they are not in make up artist with camera close up. I love SJK and he is my fav actor. though. His acting and charisma make him look A HOTTIE. But I find Kim Min Gyu is better looking... like his jaw, nose, and eyes.

Kim Min Kyu is still looks like come out of manhwa for me.. Lol...
I think Song Joong Ki or someone like Hyun Bin more in that category. their feature is not is not perfect, but still look handsome

I can be bias. you too can be biased as well.. But I have standard too when it comes tobtalent and performances. I even feel disapoint if my bias didn't give their all. As I disapointed with SJK lackluster acting in Vincenzo, despite he is my favourite actor. so don't worry. I can value acting and separate it with feeling. I too sceptical about him at first. But I was surprise in a drama as fluffly as Business proposal, He can bring good performances, especially in the first 5 episode, He has great facial expression and add depth a character which very typical chaebol. I watch his previous roles, which and he won baeksang in 2020, that I check out the first 3 episode of that drama just for him alone. And man, he is so good playing at this cold but vulnerable character which no awkwardness and feel very natural. That yess. No one in that nomination come close to his performances, I was favouriting Ahn Bo Hyun to won it back then, But understand now why they Pick Ahn Hyo Seop instead. SO yeah, I know what I'm talking about and I have a reason to praise him.

2521 is not my fav Nam Joo Hyuk performances. It's The light on your eyes is. But even he doesn't has the ability Ahn Hyo Seop has in Romantic Dr2. .

Kim Jin Won PD. definitel a certicate win! he is ACE at melo genre lol... can't forget how memorable the scene in the innocent man is. and the three main lead is ace at melo and dramatic scene. I think it will be more melo than the original. that's why they choose these three. what make me most worried is the writers.

Ahn Hyo Seop is much better actor than Nam Joo Hyuk. better technique, more talent. there is a reason he won best new actor at baeksang award 2020. It's just don't expecting his style will be the same with Greg Hsu...

I think the conflict of their social status is the one I enjoy the most this drama in the first half because of their social status. She want to not even involved with his boss life since it will bring conflict to her life, the reason she keep lying at first make sense. and unfortunately, the reason the female lead keep lying until the end become tiresome and ridiculous and they bring it just to bring humor kind ruin the momentum.
