True... We are not stupid, we know how to separate between reel and real life character. I don't know what a hallyu star in Korea reasoning behind always choosing good character trait to maintain your fairy image excuse.For someone as popular and fairy image like IU taking this project is already a good sign of her and wanting her to successas an acctress after this.

This drama is for teens target and handle in more lightheart way to draw viewers... I already hate so many filler the more I'm watching it. There is intriguing element in it, But it seems the writers want to play it safe by adding so many lightheart unnecesary scene .. I hope they cut some unnecesary character who doesn't add up anything to the story. And the acting is very underwhelming, some actor acting is atrocious. , and I'm not only talking the female lead. The think is why I'm still watching? LOL guilt pleasure indeed.

it's indeed addicting. So far tHe writers is not using the easiest road. the writers using many tropes but execute differently, which makes this drama a total crack For me. My guilty pleasure show

I hate there is makjang element awaiting us. I hope they won't make that become the central plot. Ughhhh

This writers is really good. The humor is not makes this drama losing track like other show did. The show is quite mature Handling the conflict considering the Target audience. If only they cast more competent actor. And I'm not only talking about the leads. they don't do the roles justice at times. This is the case which the cast let the drama down despite competent writers at the helm. So there are alot of people who think the drama are not worth it

I'm a big fan of melodrama, but I'm not afan of this drama. Mainly because of the writers. You can be simple and still memorable, but it's not the case here. They can just wrap this drama into 8 episode and it might be work.

If you read my review, I completely I agree with you about the scipt.. The writers is losing momentum start from episode 7 onwards.

Just Between Lovers is the one who mask themselves as a serious drama, but if you let to see behind the surface, the plot is nothing special. The actor and director elevated the script completely. make the tragedy as a theme to make it meaty on the surface, but it's just a love story between lovers who shares the same scar. Quite frustated with development second half of the drama (Because the first half of the drama is so promising with a hint of a good drama under our belt). The character development is rather too simplicity and convenient . The idea is good, but the execution is rather lukewarm.

hope this drama is not goes to the same path.

Suzy acting is not in the same galaxy as IU though. She might be improve, but it's not mature yet. Meanwhile IU is different galaxy all together in this drama. She act like a profesional actor should be . I would like her to exploit like Moon Chae Woon did in 2010-2013 through war of the arow, the princess man and the innocent man . After this. She should consider serious on acting career.. No longer acting in drama to please fans or to promote herself further, but real profesional actor. She got talent!

IU give the best acting of her LIFE so far. I swear. How can she can be this good? Gawd! I keep thinking it must be Park Hae Young effect. All in all she get one of the best performances from Seo Hyun Jin. She writes complex anti heroine. But it must be also Kim Won Suk effect..

My fav about villain-hero relationship definitely the lucifer (devil). You can sense if the tragedy didn't happened, they could be friend and talk about a good think. If that tragedy didn't occured, there would be light at the of the tunnel. It's just a tragedy caused by ego and pride from his past, but causing thousand of pain to others

I think terminal illness theme story has become a bad advertising. Add to the 2nd bitchy fmale lead Element and the audience turn off by the idea immediately without giving it a 2nd chance. If you pay attention to detail, this drama is smart in execution and especially interaction between each character is honest and full of awsome dialogue.

It's so awsome so far.. I really really cried for the female lead... first time I'm watching her acting, she is so good!

I guess, They will get involve more in to the story once Ji An officially enter their life. It's just the path to go there is yet to come. the power of storytelling

What I like about this writers Park Hae Young, She is daring to take her female lead into dark territory.. (I even guessing She is the one who start a fierce anti heroine trend as off late, so many actress finally has diversity of roles). I applaud that. No one is dare to take this character of Oh Hae Young. The first and second actress choice rejected the project. That's how unlikeable her character is. So I understand if some people dislike Oh Hae Young character so much...

That's one of flaw I think the writers was unable to accomplished in OHY. The character of Oh hae Young despite a well written character, has little sympathy quality about her. The relationship of the couple was also really toxic I've said... And I think the writers will learn her lesson this time... Develop a proper relationship with Jian and her ajusshi.

I'm so into melodrama.... But honestly this is shallow melodrama. Focus shallow love triangle.

I watch until episode 5, for me one major flaw in this drama is the acting... seems less on fire compare to mother for example. It's not it's bad, they got the job done. but it's just lack subtlety and passion, which is a must in a drama like this who is suppose to be about drama full of passion and dark aspect of each character nature . It makes drama behind drama less engaging and the feels is abit lacking. The only important character who give the character depth is the actress who act as Seo Eun-Joo. I don't know if it's come down from the writing. But the script feel cohesive so far.
