They are both artists so of course the romance will be complicated, artistic temperament and all. 😏
I didn’t find him that toxic though as he took care of her when she was sick, helped her with her crumbling project, thoughtful with gifts, and he never really cheated on her during the time they were together or it wasn’t shown clearly. the other lady just lied about being the gf and of course he was a player before but no other side chicks shown when they became lovers. another puzzling thing about the whole story was we never really got to know more about the male character and why he was that way or why he felt compelled to cater to seol ah whenever she called. why was she so special, or is it that she is suicidal if ignored, or is she actually dying from a terminal disease? Had they not chosen leads with charisma and chemistry - this story would have been so bland but their acting was quite good that it seems like the eyes spoke of how they felt for one another though the words were not spoken
