I know, but as the fl, I want her to also have an impact on the overall story but I think even her sister could have better romance and chemistry with the ml than her. Like, there's so many characters in the drama that have more chemistry with the ml than the fl herself. I know they kiss and etc but yk like something doesnt feel right unfortunately.
I'm not hating on the actor, I know she can act and she has shown that in so many including Unforgettable Love but I wish like she had more impact on the drama overall.

i can't believe how good this drama, it easily became my no.1! I'm geniunely not the type to like wuxia dramas or be interested in "popular" dramas because I was always seem to find it overrated but oh gosh this one is definitely underrated! The drama is not only a good drama because of actors and actresses or because of the overall story about beiliang and XFN but its an amazing drama because of life lessons it gives, it illustrates the importance of family and peace! it shows that if we do not like the choices then we should stand up and find a way, just like XFN says "if there's will then there's a way."
Even the villain here was so likable to the point you'd start loving him and rooting for him (not the old man, im talking about ZK), i literally was loving his role and omg Liu duan duan did an amazing job here!! I want to see him as ML in the future! :)
TBH, the only hard time I had with this drama is the ships like omg every single character had chemistry with XFN like they all were so adorable and trust me if the guys of this drama were girls then I'd be shipping them too because XFN is that amazing and kind hearted! obviously, Jiang Ni is cool too but all the others are as cool as her aswell!! I would also love to see more interactions between Qung Niao and Ning e Mei
I’ll let go of the part where ZH’s father had to put the medicine on the Queen. I can get the view that he didn’t really have a choice. But the moment where she asks for a hug right before betraying him, and he gives in, really showed that he didn’t set any boundaries. She even asks if he could return to Dongxia and be with her like before, which clearly shows their relationship was probably more than just friendship.
I get why the Queen had a crush on him; he was the one who saved her, he’s "good-looking", and he seemed like someone she could trust. But I question ZH’s father. Unlike the Queen, who lost her husband, his wife was still alive and waiting for him.
Yeah, in the drama, it shows him rushing to leave, but it wasn’t because he missed his family but rather it was to report the Gui Seal to the emperor. And even after that, he only rushed home because he secretly took the compass and knew that once the emperor found out, he, his family, his disciples, and everyone in the house would be in danger. I do admire his loyalty during that time, but I don’t think it was because of his family that he returned, I think for ZH's father anyone being there would still make him go there and he'd still try his best to protect them like he did for the Queen. I believe that because he kept the truth and didn’t say a word to the Duke even when he was directly threatened with his daughter’s and his wife’s lives clearly shows that although he did love his family it was not as strong as it should have been and he did not care for them enough. I'm not saying that he didn't love them because as seen from ZH’s memory he was a good father but not a good husband or dad. I say that because no matter what, I don’t think it was right to risk his entire family’s lives just to protect the Gui Seal which after all the villains still took. I also believe there was no need for him to be so close to Queen of Dongxia.
Ofcourse, that's just my perspective, and I might be digging too much into his life and thinking abit too much due to my jobless life but yeah
Could've got a servant to do it, there are maids in the camp as well 😠or they could've paid and made someone else do it. Honestly, I was wishing for ZH's father to be more respectful husband to his wife who died for him.
