I think that MS should told SY more clearly that he did remember things but now he doesn't want anything to do with her anymore. I mean, man should be more clearly and said it all directly. Base on SY's character, she will not give up anyway, but it's something you should do.

may be Yunxi didn't know about his past, like he woke up and didn't remember anything, but he said that "my wife saved me", so I guess he awares that he must do something before, to be injured then Yunxi saved him, later he choose to become a scholar. That's all I guess.
