All dramas have these kind of moments, not like you never seen it before. Those kind of trials are necessary for any couple, in order to make their relationship becomes stronger. Not saying they are not even officially a couple now. Yeah, no one announced other side is their girlfriend/boyfriend. I donβt knows why pp are so harsh on this one, just few eps and the angst is even not that terrible. How about be more supportive and moving forward instead just blaming ( including blaming author) . Is not that there are some big villains there to fight ? And that blind guy definitely is not a good guy !
Another detail pp are missing. At the beginning of ep 18, they said that the Fox Prince has attacked Guanghan sect, however, base on his character, he is unable to do such that kind of thing. And Suying's disciple smirks when she left the hall. So I think it's her or may be even Suying plans to make Fox spirit clan and Taoist go to war with each other. Her death is so fast and easy keep me wonder. I think she made her plan with her disciple beforehand, may be she put a spell or something, so she will resurrect later.
