Yes they separated for a whileā¦ to be exact the angst starts in eps32 n lasted till eps39, they actually finally made up in eps40ā¦ all angst between that eps n actually it was out of characters n unreasonableā¦ itās a problem from the past generation, there were some indirect evidence that her dad was related to the death of his motherā¦ n the last few eps will prove that itās not trueā¦
If u see her other historical dramas, the pattern is the same more or less, at least for LOY & TBARPā¦ good potential story, superb chems with ML, trainwreck for around the last 10eps, n ended happily in the last epsā¦ š¤¦š»āāļø So i stayed for her chems with her costars n def not for the plotā¦ but no regret, i always enjoy it overallā¦
The assault was a result of the villain setting up FL to be assaulted but failed, n in the end it happened to her insteadā¦ so itās her own fault anyway, but noone deserved that, so like i said, bad writingā¦ somehow by that happened to her the writer wanna justify all her wrongdoings n thatās the punishment for her lots n lots of evil doings, n she did like lots! Uāll know what i mean if u watch this dramaā¦

Yeahā¦ lastnight i bingewatched eps33-40 for 3hrs max i guess? Like i said, FFWD like crazy, the angst was unbearable that i skipped lots esp the scenes without any of the leads n sometimes only stopped for some contextsā¦ š¤£ JJY got some interesting dramas like LOY n TBARP, but i watched mostly for her chems with her MLā¦ coz just like this drama, potential good story at the start, good chems with ML, then trainwreck of angsts around the last 10eps till the endā¦ š¤¦š»āāļø
I also watched IACOH, was excited coz i watched the korean version n this one has JJY & SWL! However too high expectation i guess, coz it wasnāt that good IMOā¦ i hate the fact that almost nobody suspected she was a girl for almost till the end, like how? Plus since she was mostly a boy in the drama, not that many cute momentsā¦ i watched n skipped lots but stayed till the end for SWL ofcourseā¦ š
