Healthy relationship between 2adults... the problems r what could happen to anyone, financial aspect&how to be the best partner in a somehow difficult kinda situation with both of them having the job that keeps them apart lots of time... how to stay together n in luv being in 2different worlds... luv that drama to the max!
I always think healthy relationship almost never happens in historical dramas like in YAMG... or is there? I’d like to know if there is...
Ok, just finished eps27-28... Eps27 was def a a filler eps, but i don’t really mind since it’s kinda full of leads being cute trying to make JBN healthier, so there were some funny moments... i think they r making this eps to somehow prep us for the angst coming...
Eps28 was somehow what we expected, that JBN was almost got hurt by that sneaky man, but thx to LQ arriving on time, nothing bad happened... n Gao finally showed her true evil self in front of LQ&fam, confessed her intention to hurt JBN, been faking being nice to Li’s fam all this time coz she hopes in the end everything will be hers... then she packed up her stuff n left Li’s Mansion... yeyyy?
However what happened next was kinda harsh, let’s just say after the set up by Gao didn’t succeed to hurt JBN n the bad man failed to have JBN, he had Gao instead... this is the only time I kinda felt bad for her coz no woman should ever experience that, but again she actually set this up to happen to JBN, so yeah, what did she expect mixed with a person like that guy?
Anyway LiLin somehow came to get her, have no idea how he got there... n at the end of the eps looks like the battle with Yongqing will start in the next eps... what happens to QA btw? Looks like he is under a spell, seems like he is like a robot n not actually knowing what he’s doing while fighting against DD...
Based on the previews next week, i think i’m gonna take my leave for now... looks like a good time to pause before all unnecessary angsts start... i’m just gonna pretend that somehow Gao is gone forever n ZX is not a total ass (he came thru a bit by telling LQ that bad guy is around n made LQ able to save JBN on time... but i still don’t like him coz there were some scenes where he is still being delusional n obsessed with JBN)...
I’ll be back when all eps have been released n bingewatch the rest... so please spoil if the leads have made up before the last eps, then i might be able to come back sooner... 😉

Most likely that’s exactly what’ll happen... the leads will make up in the last 2-4eps before the big war then they’ll try to put in all the main plots n rush the ending... n that’s if we r lucky... also there’s a possibility of all being packed in the last eps... since the writer seems to go into this path of maximizing the leads’ angst without caring for the main plot, like what happens in JJY’s historical dramas... 🙄
if you think about it the drama became shit right after the wedding... most episodes are unwatchable filters shit
To be fair, i still enjoyed this drama after the wedding, i like their marriage life at first... the leads being so cute n lovey dovey, their chemistry made up for almost everything else in this drama... but the previews from next week got me started to lose hope... n how LQ kinda let go of Gao after what she’s done in eps26, it’s making his character is questionable...
Anyway, i’ll still finish this n not dropping it only for the leads... but i’ll wait till all have aired to bingewatch it... gotta skip lots to make it bearable to watch IMO... esp Gao&ZX parts, skip!

They r def not good villains... but then again, so do mostly JJY’s other dramas’ villains... i don’t know if u watched TBARP? The SML in that was also the worst character in terms of background as a villain... he hated ML just becoz he thought ML as a kid somehow accidentally killed his mom... n for that, he hated him like crazy! Esp when FL married ML, so double crazy... in someway he is like that SML in A Female drama, stayed right next to FL as her BFF, but does everything he can to separate ML from FL in secret... n in the end, his mom is actually still alive... so there goes all the reasons of him hating ML, stupid character!
N now Gao & ZX... i guess JJY’s productions like this type of so called villains, the delusional psychopath who is obsessed with the lead or both leads...

More or less the same filler eps... the difference is that at least by the end of that 19-20, i was still hopeful... but after this 25-26, i’m more annoyed than i thought I could be... the writer already starts to making the lead dumber... Gao&ZX r still delusional n like stuck there being boring n uninteresting ... n based on the previews next week, looks like even worse time r coming... i think after this week, i’ll hold this off n wait till it ends n bingewatch the rest... need to skip all the unnecessary angst to finish this...

I remember him... his antics were crazy! But at least in that drama the leads never really got tricked, somehow they acted n plotted against him till the end, not sure about this one from the previews next week... for that drama, i think by midway fwd, I skipped lots of his scenes...it’s just too disturbing to watch him, like u said, kinda like Gao here...

Gao is just a B**** who is delusional n obsessed with LQ that she does whatever she can to ruin JBN’s live without even thinking of the consequences, like sacrificing the only 2people who really care about her... n ZX is just a spoiled brat who is obsessed with JBN n incompetent without his dad...
These 2 characters don’t deserve being the main villains... them being heartbroken n sore losers don’t give them enough reasons... even villains need a good background n theirs r just not that interesting, it’s just too repetitive from the start till now...
