I remember him... his antics were crazy! But at least in that drama the leads never really got tricked, somehow they acted n plotted against him till the end, not sure about this one from the previews next week... for that drama, i think by midway fwd, I skipped lots of his scenes...it’s just too disturbing to watch him, like u said, kinda like Gao here...
What’s up with these crazy obsessive villains? If they want them to be the main villains, they should give them better characters... Gao is just a B**** who is delusional n obsessed with LQ that she does whatever she can to ruin JBN’s live without even thinking of the consequences, like sacrificing the only 2people who really care about her... n ZX is just a spoiled brat who is obsessed with JBN n incompetent without his dad...
These 2 characters don’t deserve being the main villains... them being heartbroken n sore losers don’t give them enough reasons... even villains need a good background n theirs r just not that interesting, it’s just too repetitive from the start till now...
i'm also scared for that part, i think this time it might become a big misunderstanding as it's related to LQ's…
Oh no... looks like the writers r working hard to create sudden problems for our leads n make them dumber... there goes my hopes for the writers not messing with the leads’s good characters... *sigh...

- Angst, it’s that dreading part in the drama that create anxious n some kinda frustration... usually when there is misunderstanding in a drama, i would say it creates angst... - LOY = Legend of Yunxi - TBARP = The Blooms at Ruyi Pavilion

Yeah, i somehow watch lots of her dramas... obviously she looks good, sings good, n good OSTs... n as much as people say she acts bad, i also see her improving.. she always acts the same yes, but as annoying as it is sometimes, i still find her ok... much worse actresses r out there, n so far i can still enjoy her act in a way... so yeah, i do hope she gets better role in better production... unlikely though if she is still stuck with her company...

OMG! They r really milking JJY n use her to promote the other new artists... I guess it is a way to market their artists n it’s not exactly a bad thing, but if everytime the SFL keeps getting the same or even more screentime than the lead, it’s just not fair... since JJY got a slave contract, she has no say I guess?

I figure it might be the only angst for this drama, n still think this will be a happy ending drama, but don’t know if it’s gonna be a short one... i’m just hoping this will not be like TBARP, long angsty misunderstandings that’ll only be solved in the last eps n be done in a rushed eps, i hate when that happens... honestly after that preview for 33-34, big chance i’ll put this on hold n will pick it back when it’s all finished... can’t handle another TBARP, i watched that while it was airing... 😓

I still have faith they’ll happy ending like in the novel... but this angst near the end just sucks... i’m still hoping it’s not another last trainwreck kind of misunderstandings like in TBARP... but I guess JJY’s production luv that kinda angst, don’t they???

I’m all for short angst, since all drama seems to have to have it... but what i just saw was just unnecessary angst... i might put this on hold n wait till it’s all finished to bingewatch the last 10eps...

So that’s why... i had no problem with that sister of JJY in TBARP, but i started watching that for JJY&ZZH, so i was a bit pissed off when she got sooo much screen time when the leads had neverending misunderstandings till the end... n now this Gao...
Finished eps25-26, n it was ok i guess? JBN, LQ with their 2besties JinXiao &DongShanhu figured out what happened n at the end of it LiLin&Uncle Gao took all the blame for Gao... n ZX is still stubborn plus determined to beat LQ somehow...
