I only read the summary to the novel... but based on what I know, the Empress will outlive the Emperor... JBN will temporarily be the the regent of the little Emperor when the Emperor dies... people at the palace will find a way to make JBN resign from that position, n she agrees in exchange for a title for LQ... then that Empress will rule, but since she’s dumb, her grandfather will be the puppeteer... then after a while the little Emperor will rule as a puppet Emperor for ZX... it ends with LQ&JBN as the Emperor&the Empress... Only the production knows how much of this will be in the drama, looks like a bit rushed if they wanna put all plots n the Emperor will only die in Eps30... we’ll see...
Also in the novel, that Gao will marry LiLin, LQ’s cousin n gets out of the story... but from the previews next week, looks like Gao will befriend the Empress n gets asked to work at the Palace for her... so seems like the writers of this drama r not done with her just yet... 😢

Eps23 was sweet... some cute moments of JBN&LQ... almost no Gao! Mostly about DD running away from home to avoid getting married, then JBN&LQ caught up with her n spending fam time...
Eps24 was ok... partly was set in the Palace coz JBN&LQ went there to visit JBN’s grandma that got sick... some dramas since the Emperor turns out still likes JBN n despises LQ’s presence... 🤦🏻♀️ But LQ&JBN consummated! No real action though, just implying kinda action, a bit bummer... at least they have that done finally... at the end of the eps, Charity House will meet problem related to Gao... looks like she’ll be kicked out of the house sometimes next week... yeyyy?

Haha yeah... i rarely watch ongoing drama, i’m not good handling angsty scenes, prefer it’s already finished then i can watch with FFWD-ing the super angsty scenes... but i did with TBARP, n also with this... the BTS for JJY&JZ r cute too... looks like they get along nicely...

My thought exactly... hopefully this won’t be like that trainwreck... don’t get me wrong, i still like TBARP, but i def stayed only for JJY&ZZ... that drama was ruined from the wedding... but it went crazy when FL blamed ML for her dad’s death, like what? N that end, FL came back to life... plus no proper reunion... last 10eps were chaotic n super angsty... i have high hope that this drama won’t be like that! I know the pendant problem is coming, but i have faith in our couple... 🤞
