As far as i see she is just dumb n uneducated... that’s why she doesn’t wanna go out n meet people who can make fun of her... it was easy for Gao to manipulate her to hate JBN at first, coz she is afraid that she’ll take her power in the house, the only place she can be the boss...
However i have no idea if she’s related to LQ’s mom’s tragedy... we were only told that LQ’s dad remarried after his wife presumed dead, no info if she was already there or he met her afterwards... characterwise, she isn’t smart, so unlikely she masterminds something like having that fire to kill LQ’s mom with the rest of Li clan... plus to kill that many people? That person must be super evil...
But i guess u never know... the production can do whatever they want... so i guess we’ll see...

- She wants to leave JBN in Yongqing n let her die there... - She plots n helps to get that annoying girl marry LQ since she can’t have him... if LQ had to marry her n break JBN’s heart, they’d have miserable lives... - She couldn’t pay a debt, so she offered DD to that Shao guy as a payment... n doing that she also lied to LQ’s mom about how good catch he is... can u imagine the kind of life DD had to go thru if that actually happened? - N based on next previews, her illegal things will be foundout but somehow her uncle will take the fall n go down for that... u don’t think that’s betrayal?
She always acts all innocent n manipulate people to do the dirty work n keep her hands clean... She might not have killed anyone, but there were so many things she did that categorized evil already that could ruin at least people in Li’s fam if her plots had worked.. for what? only for herself... she doesn’t care about the consequences as long as she can ruin JBN’s life... after all the things Li’s fam have done for her? so if u think that’s still redeemable, then I guess I got nothing else to say...

It’s already obvious most people stuck with this drama just to watch the crumbs of those precious moments between our leads... at least i do... so yeah, as annoyed as i am about how small the portions of our leads in the last few eps, I’ll stick to it... n looks like happier times for our couple is coming based on the previews... at least before the big storm hits temporarily... so i’ll just enjoy the happiness while it lasts... i just hope they get more screentime so we can see them being cute together... 😉

As in eps22 that has aired so far, noone has foundout yet about Gao’s evildoings... n i’m not defending LQ’s stepmom, but she isn’t evil, she’s just dumb n easily manipulated... that’s why Gao sticks to her, so she could use her n not getting her own hands dirty... as annoying as she is, LQ’s stepmom would never do anything that could hurt Li’s fam... contrary to Gao that already sets her mind to hurt JBN no matter what it costs...
No idea what exactly happened, but for sure it’s Gao’s doing... that guy is set up to hurt JBN... but based on LQ’s reaction when confronting Gao, mad but not like outraged, i dont think anything bad actually happens to JBN... he would’ve killed her if that had happened...
So hopefully at least Gao will be kicked out after that?
