I know right? I just never get why in filler eps they seem to think the best way is to give us longer unnecessary plot like this one, the wannabe concubines... it annoys me a lot watching it, especially any scene with Gao... I just need to know the context of the scene, then FFWD!
Why can’t they just give us filler plots like ML&FL doing some kinda investigating stuff, being smart, funny n cute n let us viewers have fun too watching them... i guess it has something to do what was talked in one of the threads, the leads get paid full, but only need to shoot around half of them? That’s why in filler eps like eps19-20, their presence is not exactly necessary... only some crumbs...
I’m not dropping the show either, i’m to hooked on LQ&JBN to do that... still waiting for their moments, no matter how little they give us... I have hopes for eps24... we’ll see...

I think they r talking about Yongqing, the neighbour state, where QingTai is declaring himself the King after his dad died when QingAn the brother was supposed to be the King chosen by his dad... that link showed a scene where that QingAn is fighting n looks like he’s gonna die... though personally I don’t think he dies, hopefully not...

So that’s what happens when for some eps only one lead pops up or at least they r not in the same scenes for a few eps... good for the actors I guess? Full pay n half work... or maybe only good for the agency? The actors still have to work lots, n the agency only needs to milk them... I guess that’s also why many of them can shoot lots of titles in a year... Not good for us as viewers... during those eps, usually I skip a lot... these fillers eps, even if u skip, has nothing to do with big plot, they r there just to mess with us with unnecessary angst...

Good idea for tomorrow’s eps! Today I couldn’t really multitask, my hand was busy with fastforwarding the scenes with Gao... those 2eps was finished only around a duration of 1eps... 🤣🤣

In the novel that happened though.. The little Emperor will be ZX’s puppet emperor... that’s why i think if it follows the novel, it’s very unlikely that ZX will get a character development, since he’ll stand against LQ&JBN till the end... he might even get worse... 🙄🙄

I just need her plot to be over ASAP... i skipped her scenes lots now, coz her antics r just so unwatchable... hers n also ZX... can’t believe after everything n all those rejections, they r still that delusional... 😓 also from the look of it, ZX is soon joining the rest of the dumb squad...
