There was a kiss before the leads got together, in between eps8-10 i think... FL thought she was gonna die, so when ML was saving him when she was trapped in fire, she kissed him... it was a peck on the lips , the JJY kinda kiss, the not moving one, but it was a kiss nonetheless...
But i agree, their chemistry made up for the usual steamy kisses, they have natural skinship... n there were some super cute stolen kisses n hugs... though i still hope for a real one, at least one time, as a couple... maybe when they finally consummate? 🤞

But now her mind is more set in making JBN’s life miserable since she is now sure the only reason LQ “changed” is because of JBN... first step, trying to help the newcomer to be LQ’s concubine... I guess at least now she knows it’s unlikely for her to be with him... so “if i can’t him, u can’t have him all to urself” kinda mindset... 🙄

Gao was sneaky.. when she found the Bethrothal Letter, he asked her uncle to ask LQ’s dad&stepmom to go thru with what was asked in that letter... so he did... then LQ’s dad with Gao went to JBN n ask her to accept her as the concubine... when LQ found out, he went to his dad to refuse the marriage n tell him to not to meddle with his son’s marital business... Gao wasn’t there, but later LQ refused her to her face...

There was... just like what were said, those r the only parts I was enjoying in the eps... it’s just that the portion was just so small... mostly in the 2eps were Gao n those newcomers trying their best to catch LQ... but yeah, it was a failure everytime...

1st, what he said... LQ told him about how he as a commander got off easy by getting only the beatdown from some people in the camp, minor injury, since he did cause lots of people there to die... then LQ mentioned some logistic problem, but ZX said it’s none of his business... then further respond as a sore loser, he suddenly asked how JBN is doing n warned LQ not to leave her again n get her hurt... like that’s any of his business? Plus LQ always protects JBN!
2nd, what he did... related to that logistic problem, his dad sent him lots of silver to cover for the lost he suffered coz of the battle... but a weasel tricked him to give him the silver so he can solve the problem somehow... however it looks like he is gonna do something illegal... so ZX will stupidly getting dragged into this becoz of his stupid ego when LQ was actually offering his help with this problem but was refused by ZX...
Anyway, ZX is still in his worst behavior everytime he meets LQ... so in that case, i don’t think he’ll ever change his mind... he’ll keep thinking that he lost JBN because of LQ n not simply because JBN just doesn’t like him... 🤦🏻♀️

Her illegal thing was not doing good, so the investor came looking for her to collect his money... since she doesn’t have the money to pay him, she offers him DD... so she went to the mother n telling all good qualities about him making her think he is the best catch for DD... u know the mom is dumb n believes in her, plus she really want DD to get married ASAP... then a meet is arranged... DD meets the guy, n all the guy talked about is how DD is the inlaws of a Princess, blablabla... DD doesn’t like him n she told her dad, luckily her dad supports her in this, he doesn’t wanna rush her marriage... hopefully Gao doesn’t pursue this plot anymore... we’ll see...

Let me know what u think of him after u watched him in eps19... based on that, i think his character is almost unredeemable... unless they wanna do that plot where he needs to face the consequence of his stupid behavior, which is unlikely since he still has his dad as his backup... he’ll clean up his mess i think...

Based on wetv subs eps20, u got most of it right... but it’s not Miaorong, it’s the new guest... she pretends to be JBN, LQ almost hugged her but managed to avoid her at the last minute n kicked her accidentally... then LQ told his guard to check on her if she’s dead, n if she isn’t dead just send her back to her room n tell her mom to watch over her... 🤣🤣
It’s nothing... JBN wanna help the maid of the new guests, since not only they r homewreckers but they r also bad people who treat their maid poorly... so JBN gave a blanket to this maid after she found out where she had to sleep... then she came back to the room n confronted by LQ, asking where she’s been... 1st she lied about some stray cat, but then she confessed after LQ knew she lied... all is good between them...
