Mine too... I’ve seen some of them... so far he acts n looks his best here... his character is also good here, smart, loyal, has supreme martial arts, etc... so far I’m loving him in this, hopefully they’ll keep his character like this till the end...

About that drama of him n LJ... I watched that too, it was a trainwreck... full of misunderstandings from the start till the end... the reason I managed to finish it because i like JZ & LJ, so I FF most of the angst which was a lot! N his character there was not written properly either, it’s kinda a hard character to like...

Anyway, so far this is much better!

Agree... I also don’t think he luv JBN... it’s just his obsession... since he thinks he is that superior compared to lots of people, especially to LQ, his pride just can’t take the loss... being pampered all of his life n having people tell him that he’s the best among all, not actually surprised that he has this kind of mindset where he feels entitled to every best thing, n in this case, JBN... he just can’t find the reason why he loses to LQ, a person in his mind who’s totally beneath him... someone needs to force him to get off his high horse...

I do hope he’ll realize it someday n maybe someone will teach him a good hard lesson... However I don’t know if we’ll ever see his redeeming quality... based on the novel, supposed he’ll stay on the opposite side n will keep being unfriendly to the leads till the end... we’ll see if they stick to the novel...

I know... i miss the fast track option...

IMO it just means that the Emperor is dumb n useless... His one n only arc is trying to get JBN while waiting for his death... now JBN is married to LQ, he wants to sabotage that marriage by sending ZX to mess with them... *sigh...

Not sure if Li Lin deserves ur pity just yet... from the way he looks at LQ, he doesn’t give a good vibe... maybe he just envies LQ since Gao likes him n looks like LL likes Gao... but he helps Gao doing that shady underground business that can ruin Li’s fam... supposed soon he’ll join the rest of the dumb characters in this drama...

N with her cleverness I’m sure JBN will be the one helping n solving Li’s fam problems... maybe then after all of that Gao will finally marry Li Lin n be sent away... i’m just hoping it’s not in the last 5eps... i’m ready to say goodbye to her like ASAP!

Have u watched the next few trailers? Scream away... There will be another family with a woman eyeing for LQ n creates probs for FL I think... n that thx to Gao’s “ if i can’t have him so u can’t have him all by yourself” kind of mindset... but these probs seem to end with ML&FL finally consummate their marriage... so let’s just say, it’s always darkest before the dawn... hehe...

What I like the most about this drama is the chemistry between the leads... even when they only do small kisses n hugs, but it feels so believable as a married couple, n they r just so cute together...

Plus i like how they don’t drag the problems... i know SML&SFL r so annoying n delusional, but none of their antics work, so just FF their scenes if u can’t stand them n keep in mind they’ll marry other people...

I also like how the problems always solved quickly so it doesn’t create misunderstanding... unlike the past JJY’s dramas where the misunderstandings were always stretched to the max to maximize the angst that it reached a ridiculous point! I really hope this one will not go that way n stay in this good path till the end where the leads r smart n believe in each other no matter what happens... let’s hope they’ll keep this up... fingers crossed!

I went back to the earlier trailer that has that scene where JBN was sitting on LQ’s lap n they r wearing blue-ish garments... n she said in the sub:
“I know it’s not easy being a princess husband, so i hope our children will make u feel better...”

That’s why I thought for sure that means she is pregnant already at that time based on that sub...

If u say it like that, i prefer no miscarriage plot, that’ll be too devastating for the leads, n that can slowdown the plot with angst, i don’t want that...

So i hope that convo is really about JBN telling LQ that it’s ok now for them to consummate but maybe not pregnant yet...

N I thought MIL say the thing about letting other woman give LQ children is because they haven’t consummated yet n around the period of that Gao wants to be the concubine n the new woman comes to the house also wants LQ... i’m still hoping no miscarriage plot... i guess we’ll see this sunday, can’t wait!

I think that part is in the 26th eps! But u r right, she is pregnant! I remember that scene in one of the long trailers which was subbed, n that’s when she tells him she is pregnant! Maybe after all of that concubine talkings, JBN finally let LQ consummated their marriage.. hehe...

Hopefully nothing bad will happen to her pregnancy... maybe after this ZX&Gao will finally marry other people, then we can move on to other plots... fingers crossed!

I’ve seen some versions of next eps trailers, but no subs so far... I just take a guess that Gao wants to be the concubine, but supposed that was rejected, coz somehow she let that new people come which i think also want LQ? But i believe LQ will somehow turn all of them down... that’s why I’m ready to be over with that concubine plot n let ML&FL consummate their marriage already...

Really? She’ll be pregnant soon? Is that what she says in the trailer when she is alone with ML? I know they’ll have 2kids in the novel, but I don’t expect them to have kids that fast, we r only 18eps in n 40eps is still a long way... there r still things that need to happen to the leads first before they get that kinda happiness... we’ll see...

I’m ready to say goodbye to Gao&ZX, lets marry them off ASAP! So over with their obsessions towards the leads, it just doesn’t make sense anymore after being rejected in frontal like that...

Also agree that MIL is not that evil, she is just that dumb n easily manipulated... she’ll come around hopefully...

LQ&Qing An r half brothers, they have the some mother... I was kinda surprised noone else has talked about this... n about the Princess’ pendant, yeah I saw a scene that shows ML saw that pendant in the past, so it’ll relate to his past n also her family... we’ll see how it’ll unfold... without too much angst I hope for the leads!

So, what do u think of ZX after today’s eps? If even after that frontal rejection he’ll still in denial, then his character might be unredeemable... hopefully he’ll get a plot of his own, then maybe we can see a bit of character development n not just obsessing with FL...

I might understand if Gao or ZX was ever the leads’ exes, but they were not, it’s only in their minds... it always amazes me how people can be that obsessive just based on their imagination... *sigh...
