It’s just lousy writing IMO... that monolog of hers in eps28 after she got caught n confessed everything was just so random words... she said she faked being nice all this time to LQ’s stepmom, she blamed LQ’s dad for her uncle when he actually took the blame for her crimes, she blames LQ for JBN like he cheated on her... n somehow she said she always thought everything in Li’s r hers... like what??? Nobody actually did anything bad to her while she kept on doing evil things... I just don’t get the logic in this script...
I do think they r gonna use the tragedy that happened to Gao as her background/turnpoint so now she can be the real villain to take her revenge n somehow now it’s reasonable n justifiable for her to create even bigger chaos...
Like come on writer, this is just lazy writing... 🙄😐

I like him too... honestly at first not a big fan coz he played such an evil character in Princess Weiyoung, but after a few dramas, I got used to his look n i think he looks manly, like u said, not a pretty boy, but def not ugly...
IMO his hair there didn’t do him justice, esp in that last extra scene, such a bad hairstyle... have u watched Twisted Fate of Luv? He looks good there, much better hairstyle, n also a good series...

I wouldn’t say i hate her other dramas, coz I actually watched some of them... TBH, there r much worse idol dramas out there, but yeah, it takes patient n honestly i skipped lots n watched mostly just the leads’ scenes... So far JZ is her best pair beside ZZH...
I watched her dramas for her chemistry with her partners, n not for the almost always sucks plot... IMO it usually starts ok, but midway thru, somehow the writer gets posessed n comes up with the most absurd plot just to create problems, misunderstandings n unnecessary angsts between the leads... n what i hate the most, they like to kill the leads’ characters to do that... so yeah, i’m still hoping they r minimizing this part for RFY coz this is the best character for JJY so far... but i’m already anxious since they already made LQ dumber in eps26 when he let Gao went unpunished just becoz LiLin asked him... that’s so out of character of him... we’ll see if they manage to ruin LQ’s character even more, or starts to ruin JBN... 😓
We’ll see in Nov 22 coz I’m taking a break for now till all is finished... not happy with the way this drama is going based on the previews next week...

Honestly, JJY’s dramas r not the best... however, somehow i keep watching them, at least for the chemistry between her n her partners n def not for the plot, the plot almost always sucks... let’s just say in her dramas FFWD button is my BFF, i just enjoy the cute scenes n skip lots... 😆
Plus IMO there r far much worse dramas out there, so for me hers is just an ok one, esp when u have no other dramas to watch, like what’s happening right now... i also think her set and costume wardrobes r always good... n even if sometimes she wears too much accessories, u can see they r not the low budget looking ones... i guess they wanna make sure her idol persona isn’t damaged by this aspect...
So far she is best paired with JZ&also ZZH... since it’s unlikely to be paired again with ZZH, i’ll def watch her drama if she gets paired with JZ again... as for other actors, i think it depends if she has good chems with them.. so i still might watch it, especially coz she is usually paired with eye candy actors too... 😉

Yeah i know, been looking fwd to Pearl Eclipse... i hope the airing time will be better, like 2eps per day the whole week, so it’ll finish soon n not too long waiting... saw the trailer n looks good, but also looks more angsty than happy... usually i watch that kinda drama when it’s all done, can’t really handle wuxia kinda angst, i could cry like a baby... 😭
