So ep 99: > How was GC able to visit her father by herself? Lucia only allowed SR to visit and SR took her yesterday.
> I guess Stella having an honest conversation with Lucia is unthinkable? - They’ve only lived together for 4 years and Lucia isn’t like a mad scientist bent on SR’s destruction.
It is so true, how Lucia and Stella consistently assume whatever GC & SJ do or say is the truth. If it were…
I think you are right! I’ve been in a kdrama slump. I know the characters are different, but the situations are always the same. Yes there are only so many situations that happen in life, but how about a different response? Like the ‘noble idiocy trope’, how about a character saying, “No, I will not breakup because I care about you!”
Ugh, I haven’t watched many new shows, just watch the ones I’ve liked over again. And genres other than Rom-Com.
So I guess the last scene yesterday was a fake-out. I hope this misdirection (if it actually is) doesn’t last…
I forgot about that until you reminded me. I thought yesterday that was very telling!
Has Lucia ever acknowledged her role in MS’s suicide? I think she know SR didn’t kill or cause MS’s death. There would be one way she’d pat her daughter’s murders back. I think.
So I guess the last scene yesterday was a fake-out. I hope this misdirection (if it actually is) doesn’t last…
I hadn’t thought of SR visiting the columbarium and seeing the photo in MS’s alcove. (I’m not sure what the cubbies are called. (In the US even columbarium’s aren’t that common. I think 🤔)
I also think Lucia may act tough on SR in front of Stella, because Stella wants revenge on anything “Min”.
I really would hate to see Stella be kind to GC even for a few episodes. 😖
Your thoughts on the bloodline being the most important thing to GC is insightful. She has not shown much of any motherly love for SR other than as a possession.
It is frustrating to watch Lucia and Stella fall into every trap and succumb to every manipulation when the story…
It is so true, how Lucia and Stella consistently assume whatever GC & SJ do or say is the truth. If it were the reverse SJ would ruin his own dna test.
I can almost accept that every bit of info & luck happen to the antagonists, but the protagonists still bring fools closed to episode 100 is sad. Sad with a side of lazy writing.
In the prior Kdrama Queen’s House, the protagonist was gullible and weak at the beginning, but her character changed and stayed smarter!
Stella is super happy to have a granddaughter. I wonder how Kyung Chae explained everything to Se Ri.The Chairman…
So I guess the last scene yesterday was a fake-out.
I hope this misdirection (if it actually is) doesn’t last long.
I know SR was a horrible teenager at the beginning of the show and should be punished for the assault. Thought since she’s received a sane (is Lucia sane 🫣) mother’s love her character’s transformation has been the biggest on the show.
I hope SR doesn’t find out it was all fake before the truth of her parentage is revealed. That would be traumatic.
I can’t wait until l the lawyer gets the punishment he deserves… should definitely happen by the last episode! 😆
Ki Beom is such a perfect victim because he is so easy to swidle bc he is such a loser - does not communicate,…
Well said! I have noticed not only on this show, but many of the soapy KDramas… people may not use guns but they are awfully quick to hit someone. Even parents against adult children.
> Look at KB, talking to his daughter, raised his hand… > Talking to the chairman, yes the chairman is scum, but KB hit him in a coffee shop, > Even with HN, KB reached across the table and grabbed his collar.. HN diffused the situation…
All that to say KB is a very frustrating & selfish while trying to act non-selfish.
What was with real JW’s father going home to put on a sit to go right back to JW and start his manipulation…
You bring up very interesting possibility!
I’d like to think the model is alive. He’s a jerk & scum but he didn’t deserve most of what happened to him.
Although if you try to kill someone, they are entitled to stop you. > I think realYC’s mother certainly could have attempted to save him, but that would have required a lot of effort for someone she killed in an tub in the middle of an room.
It would be as you said, a big twist!!
The chef is in the top 2 or three scary characters in the show. They picked the right actor for him!
I don’t understand how the story will go once real JW is discovered as YC? 🤪
I hope they limit recaps to the last 30 seconds of the previous episode. It’s a daily, it’s not like the episode is from a week ago. 🫣
I watched today’s episode and I think I understand what I watched. However, it feels like JW caved in to her…
A very complete, comprehensive answer. You gave me much to think about, more than I thought real JW’s situation contained! As always thank you for the well thought reply!!
In a moment that cuts deeper than confrontation, Ki Beom accuses Jeong Won of being ashamed of him. She denies…
I watched today’s episode and I think I understand what I watched. However, it feels like JW caved in to her fathers demand almost too easily. And at the heart of the matter he’s right, what she achieves as YC will always be a hollow victory, a temporary victory followed by a fall further than being a murder’s daughter.
What do you see as her reason to acquiesce to her father’s demand?
> How was GC able to visit her father by herself?
Lucia only allowed SR to visit and SR took her yesterday.
> I guess Stella having an honest conversation with Lucia is unthinkable? - They’ve only lived together for 4 years and Lucia isn’t like a mad scientist bent on SR’s destruction.
The answer: it’s a Kdrama.
I hope this arc goes away this week!

Also how would real JW’s overly grumpy father ever accept realYC to live in his house as his ‘fake JW’?
Also does realYC know grumpy father was convicted of the murder her brother’s father. 🙄🤦🏻♂️🫣
Oh wait, it’s a Kdrama! Yup it’ll work!
(In the US even columbarium’s aren’t that common. I think 🤔)

Rant over.

I’m really not fond of real YC’s mother, though she seems a popular character at least on this page.
I don’t know where the story is headed but as long s they stop the recaps - it should be interesting!! 🧐
You gave me much to think about, more than I thought real JW’s situation contained!
As always thank you for the well thought reply!!
(while he maybe correct whatever she achieves as YC isn’t really hers but that’s not what the show is about)
Agree, I hate recaps, it just happened yesterday not 20 episodes ago! 🫣🎃😡
However, it feels like JW caved in to her fathers demand almost too easily.

I think currently the chairman doesn’t know where SJ has the books with the illegal accounts?
