While I understand this is a fictional drama, their treatment of their daughter comes from something true in the real world.
And you’re right her ex husband cheated and wants to start a new family so her leaving wasn’t exactly her choice. Why would you want your daughter to stay in a relationship like that? You know the grandma would literally kill grandpa (Mi Yeon‘s mom & dad) if he cheated. LoL!
Also if they’re upset she didn’t bring their grandson with her, they should have told her they could help her pay for the private school etc….
