it is quite a different weekender hahahttps://x.com/sundogsnrainbow/status/1840085413073207473
Wow the first 20 to 25 minutes were really sad and depressing… but it seems to recover quickly and well!
I was surprised at the fast “adult” relationship on screen! I know it happens irl, but on family dramas… hugs and kisses are limited. (LYOL & BaMR the only proof of a relationship were the babies at the end, lol)
So far I’m enjoying this style of Family Drama and hope it continues for the next 35 episodes!
PS: MDL ratings are not really that accurate. Especially at the beginning of a series!
Just found out that Hulu doesn’t have Ep 3 yet… and after being on with tech support for 30 minutes , they can’t tell me when it will be available! Why do I pay for a subscription when other are watching ep 3 now probably for free…😡😢😔
Because now the plot is "look how selfless Dan Ho is raising his brother's child after loosing his entire family"…
Sad. But South Korea may not be ready for reality that people love who they love…
So much potential wasted!
PS: i guess YD doesn’t know her dad is her uncle…
I’m hesitant to continue to watch the show as a whole…
Hyo the leads parents know about their relationship? Do they disapprove? I really think I’m getting discouraged by Kdrama tropes… especially the lack of growth of parents ever… 😔
PS: if adults were allowed to marry who they love maybe the SK birth rate would go up? 🤔
just one week ago i was appreciating this drama for being realistic about past relationships, people can lose…
It seems really sad to me that the SK mentality (in KDramas) is that single parents are treated like a disease! Parents of adult children “forbid” their children (who are grown a** adults) from dating or worse - marrying a single parent.
Sorry but I dislike parents controlling their children’s love life and life in general. I’m talking about I independent adult children with jobs.
It’s fine to respect & listen to your parents’s opinion.
I know this is an unpopular opinion for many Asian cultures (that wasn’t meant to be offensive). They seem be think it’s okay for their parents to control their lives.
I get respecting your elders, but grown a** adults shouldn’t have to breakup because it doesn’t suit the parent(s). 😡
I know it’s an unpopular opinion but maybe if people actually loved who they married instead of what society wants, the SK birth rate might go up…🤔
This site is entertaining and educational!! 👍🏻
I’ll do my best! 🙏🏻

.😡😢😡
It just shows that sometimes even top tier talent can’t save a bad script…
I was really looking forward to this being so solid after the a great first half… 😔
I guess I could use the word “show”
Also does the Hindi alphabet use English letters?
From Google:
The Constitution of India says: The official language of the Union shall be Hindi in Devanagari script.
Thanks for the discussion… I don’t think anyone else cares… lol
😆🤔🫣

(Did he do that in OSN & SiTR? 😂)
I can’t get my Hulu / Disney+ to update and have ep 3 yet… 😔
Let’s see what tech support can do… 🤔

Thanks for the info…
Now what do we do!🤔
Hmmm…🤔
Is it getting in to standard “Kdrama trope” territory?
It was so nicely written and fresh…🫣

Just my opinion.
I respect others’ opinions.
🙏🏻🫣😊
Not arguing, but I think she “only” has to send 10…🤔
PSH is excellent in this role!
Love the fight scenes, just like her Sisyphus role!
And I’ve never said this before, but every scene is like a fashion show!🫣
I hope this show continues its intense pace and doesn’t get bugged down with too many standard Kdrama tropes!
🤔🙏🏻😊
