I think the FL was unhappy in her 4 year relationship and when she met the (new person) ML she realized that she really didn’t want to be in her present relationship.
She tried to breakup with the 4 year relationship guy, but he would accept that. There was no real separation between old relationship and new relationship. However if one person wants out the other person can’t force the other to stay in the relationship. I know Kdramas are different, but I believe ‘No means No’.
The FL, NO longer wanted to be in her old relationship.

I suffered through this drama as it was “live”. It was okay at times, and you are right… Tae-hee, Mi-rim and the kids were okay or at least okay by the end. The FL was horrible most of the time to Tae-ho. And the last 4 episodes led to a horrendous ending!
I like when love works out and the leads are together at the end…but not here! HS (fl) was the worst fiancée ever! No communication and she disappeared for a year (?) … and if she wasn’t on TV…TH (ml) never would have found her. And she seemed happy dumping everyone and leaving & living on her own.
She really did Live Her Own Life!
The ML was so supportive of the FL as her family used her!
Ugh..😡 I forgot how angry the ending made me. The ML should have moved on…he was too good and was treated like trash. I think he was a fool in love… 😔🫣🤦🏻♂️
I also wonderd about it. Cause she was acting all ho*ny around MG-T and asking him about if he was with any woman…

She seems so strong and confident. But then seems shy / reserved when they first kiss. Or get close to it…
Any thoughts? Just wonder what other fans think… (I hope to see Seo Yea Ji back in the Kdrama world one day soon!)
I find the first 6,7 ep very funny and I dont consider the male lead cringe …. after that the story is kind…
I love the drama and like the leads (and the 2ML). They are all great actors! While the ML is handsome, his behavior and demeanor in the first was not very friendly or kind… thank goodness the FL is tough and resilient! The ML did a big change and became the perfect, near perfect man/boyfriend from ep 5 or 6. I think earlier than that he was rude and pushy… forcing the FL to take a day off of work and go to a secluded house alone with him…
Don’t get me wrong I truly love this Kdrama! I have rewatched it multiple times. (Except the parts from “300 years ago”. I’ve seen them once and understand why they needed to be shown, but they’re sad and historic / Joseon KDramas are not my preferred genre.)

If you like the male lead, you should watch him in “She Would Never Know”. Not as light as DwY, but it was really good! And the FL opposite him was great too!
