I too thought the mother was definitely not a willing participant in what Phas saw as a child! You are right about her being raped…that is so horrible. But that uncle is a POS! 😡 (And what mothers could send her son away so cruelly?)

A really great family drama was: Once Again it was 50/60 episodes but most went really quickly and well. Most consider it one or the best Korean family dramas.

In conclusion, they really are crazy (totally and completely MAD FOR EACHOTHER) This was such a rollercoaster…

The character development and their relationship has been awesome! I haven’t seen either lead actor before, but they both are excellent - and I want to see their other KDramas now…
I think Kdrama often “fall apart” in the last episode(s). Just an observation from 100+ KDramas. And this show really keeps it tight at only 30 minutes an episode. They really pack a lot in those 30 minutes.
I’m kind of dreading the last 2 episodes but, I tend to finish what I start…🫣🤔😊

Agreed, we need to get through the groundwork and background until we get to the “meat” of the show. (I have many KDramas that I can’t get through ep 1)
Also, it’s a horrible choice, but wouldn’t it be better for DaRim to focus on getting one eye fixed at 400k then try only to get the 800k. Again, it is a horrible choice and situation that insurance doesn’t see eyesight as crucial enough to cover… at least part of the cost. 😢
